Warm Springs became a hot spot politically several years before and after Franklin Roosevelt became President. Monumental decisions were made in many cases as Mr. Roosevelt worked to effect National policies and laws while in Warm Springs,Ga.
As Mr. Roosevelt was making national and international decisions, Eleanor Roosevelt was very involved in forging ahead in the underpinnings of the Civil Rights movement that eventually resulted in desegration.
Follow The Leaders Museum revisits the movement by portraying such key players as MLK, Bobby Kennedy, Ralph Bunch, Marion Anderson, and Eleanor herself.
