Great Hotdogs at all 3 locations. Each person has their own preference. So why argue?

I haven't had a Parkway hotdog for about 15 years, but anybody from Logan/Chapmanville ever tried Farley's hotdogs in Barboursville? The chili tastes almost exactly the same.

i am sure it has changed over the years but, for those of you who can remember it form the 60s 70s and 80s. it was an old family recipe, and as far as i know it was never written down. the recipe belonged to a woman named jenny and after she left it changed, so they brought her back just to make the chilli. i am only aware of three people who know how to make it, and i am one of them, and as far as i know the recipe never left the family. the way i was taught to make it was to watch while it was being made. and no i will never give it out. i taught my son how to make it, and yes everyone we make it for loves it. so i am sorry for those of you who miss it but all i can say is keep trying, maybe one day you will solve it. but it is not going to be easy.

Parkway chili is too runny and no meat, and they only put about 1/2 teaspooon on a hotdog.

Janets chili - ain't like Janet used to make it and sometimes it's fresh and sometimes tastes like it should be throwed out for dog food.

Morrisons - chili OK, not like back in the 60's or 70's, but the weiners taste like rubber and sometimes look greenish.

so, I just go to the Dairy Delight.......

I got a hotdog there last week and it was horrible. The chili was yucky and the weiner tasted old and they didn't bother putting onion or mustard on it even tho I asked everything. I tossed it out the window. Won't be buying no more there.

Are you referring to Farley's or Parkway? I haven't eaten at either place in a long time

Morrison's. Everybody raves about their hotdogs but what I got was awful.

I know for a fact they do change it because I'm up there sometimes when they change the grease!

Got a hot dog at Morrisons last week. Weiner was greenish but the Chile was good. This was at noon so the weiner should have been fresh looking. Won't be eating there for a while.

Why serve something to someone that you would not eat yourself?
