John T. Keffer is one of the best athletes that will ever come out of Man WV, my son has played all sports with him for years and I've never seen a more dedicated child to sports in my life. Yes, he is young but I guarantee you nobody could step in his shoes and do a better job. Why don't we give this team out support instead of bashing the kids and the coaches? I predict in 2 yrs, this team will lead us to another championship with the same boys, same coaches, what ya gonna say then???
Who cares about what's gonna happen in two years? Let the other boys there play. These other "golden" kids have years left to play, the juniors & seniors don't. Why are they being punished & not getting played? Who cares who the daddy is, it's suppose to be a TEAM sport. I ain't seen no TEAM in the MHS BILLIES in at least a year. Face it, unfortunately I have!

Who said anything about anybody's daddy? This isn't midget league anymore, the kids who can play, get to start, that's just how it is. If they happen to be sophomores and freshman, oh well. I'm sure coach arms knows an athlete when he sees one, after all he has been coaching for a very long time. If a kid has proven themselves and worked hard for a position it shouldn't matter what grade they're in or how many years they have left.

Same old crap with Man people. When Tootie was coaching everyone wanted Harvey, now that Harvey is coaching everyone wants Tootie or anyone else. Sooner or later you have to admit that the kids play the games. They have to be held responsible and be held accountable for their failures! In life their moms and dads aren't going to be there to blame everyone else when they fail in life. It's always the coaches, officials, grass too high, field too wet....etc. Losing and having to overcome failures is part of life! Don't give them an easy way out, let them work it out themselves, they will come out better Men for being knocked down and getting back up on their own! This is just a sport, the sport of life is much more important than any ball game you will play!

It is time for a change. Watching the T formation is painful. Every thing on the vine has its time to ripen. The billies offense is way past it's prime. There is a reason why nobody else besides midget league runs the T formation. If one really cared about the program instead of egos, there would be a new coach, not a midget league daddy, at the helm.

And they have absolutely no chance of winning the AAA title this year, there are too many teams that are far superior.

I actually heard one daddy, telling everyone that would listen that we out coached, out played, out prepared. Then goes over to the coach and act like his buddy.

Here we go again, I really wish everybody would quit worrying about what these dads are saying and doing and get to the root of the real problem which is we need a new head coach to lead these boys!!!!!

Root of the problems is that mommies and daddy's, think their children are super stars and it someone else's child bring their's down and causing them to lose. To many sit in the stands and count tackles, yard gained, passing yardage. There kids are never to blame, not the we should blame kids anyway. Always point fingers at someone else's. Then complain about who plays where and who gets to run the ball.

Your comment makes no sense, what does what's bein said on in the bleachers by the daddy's and mommies have to do with what's goin on out on the field? And why do you care if they're keepin their kids' stats, soooo irrelevant!!!

I think we should go to a board meeting and demand a change in all the coaching positions.

You would replace the coach with who? One of the parents with kids on the team I am guessing. Oh wait that is already done in our youth programs.

It should be very easy to get rid of the coaches. Greg Crabtree is paid big money to be MHS athletic director. If he would do his job and evaluate them, then the board could fire them and hire some decent coaches.
I haven't forgot that they allowed the hazing to go on in the dressing room 2 years ago. I believe the case is going to court.

maybe their not being punished maybe they just don't have the talent that the "golden" boys have....I don't care what grade they are in..just because you think you son or grandson can play don't make it so....if they haven't proved theirself by now...maybe you should just man up or woman up and say "son you just ain't got it.

Based on this years' job performance- all the coaches would have to be rated unsatisfactory.

Sandy and Greg won't do anything- they need to be replaced also.
