Hey fannie- you seem to think that gay people should be foster or adoptive parents. You bash them every chance you get. Here is your chance to help out one of your lovely heterosexual parents.
BECKLEY — A Summers County circuit court judge has lowered a $500,000 bond for a woman charged with the death of her 18-month-old daughter.
The bond for Cristen Lynn Hurley, 24, was reduced to $75,000 Monday by Judge Robert Irons. Hurley is charged with child abuse resulting in injury and child neglect resulting in death. Her live-in boyfriend, James R.L. Meadows, 19, was arrested as well and charged with murder and death by a custodian.
Both were arrested in the Hilldale area of Summers County following the death of 18-month-old Isabella Danielle Hurley.
The child was declared brain dead after EMS responded to the couple’s home on Nov. 4.
Isabella was taken to the Summers County Appalachian Regional Hospital in Hinton and then transferred to Women and Children’s Hospital in Charleston.
She was declared brain dead shortly after and removed from life support.
According to police reports, Meadows was home alone with the child when the injuries were first reported.
Meadows initial statements, that the child fell off a couch and bed several times were not consistent with the medical examiner’s autopsy report.
