300K a year to run a pool. 25K population. Even if it was built for free (it won't be), I would prefer to keep my $12 a year.

Yay, another outdoor pool. I can't wait for it to be filled with kiddies pissing in it and for it to only be open for two months a year. Indoor pool, what's that?

Do you not read? The current pool has a 2 year shelf life and then there would be no pool!

Instead of using money on something kids can do for two months, why not build something for year round entertainment that would actually MAKE them money. Not to mention were surrounded by plenty of rivers and lakes for swimming!

It's funny to me that all of a sudden the old pool only has a 2 year shelf life. Who decided that? It has to be more cost effective to maintain the one we have than to build a new one.

Any idiot can see that a new pool is just wasting taxpayer money.. Just go by the current pool on any given summer day and see how much business they have. Please don't waste our money like this.
