First let me say I work for Walmart.
MOST importantly ....My son was
Army, he served in Dessert Storm. My nephews
served Dessert Storm and Freedom Iraqi,
My Brother and several cousins
served in Viet Nam, My Dad served
in Korean conflict, my uncles and Grandpa
served in WW2. I had many sleepless nites
and holidays with out my family. I was not
military but I AM a PROUD military Mom and family member.
EVERY soldier that comes in the store and I
know they are military. I personally thank
them for what they are doing. I have had several
tell me they are honored to do this. If some one
is wearing a Vet hat or shirt, I thank them.
I proudly wear Red, white and blue EVERY friday
in honor of of Military. my vehicles all have
flags and support our Troops decals, I have
several American Flags at my home.
I also want to thank you "THE HARD STUFF" and also thank you "CRY babys" for your service to our
Great Country.
Please if you have a gripe thats fine, but do
not put everyone in the same catagory.
P.S. YES I will be working today, its part of the job when working in retail.

Even soldiers overseas get some form of Thanksgiving, yes it may not be with their families but that is the life they signed up for - get a clue.

Even when they are working, their off!! Half stand around doing nothing but yapping. They are very rude and have major attitudes. They are more like gas station clerks than grocery clerks. They don't help you put your bags in cart any longer???? The attitudes along with laziness keep me away unless I have no choice.
Now I'm SURE the LADIES that have work ethics are nice and hard workers that is why I said HALF, I'm not lumping all of the cashiers/managers, but a vast majority..

On the other hand, I don't think ANY establishments should be open on holidays except maybe the gas stations by expressways for travelers, other than that, people should be with family on holidays. The stores should take those (and others) to CLEAN!!! Everywhere is just getting nasty. I bought a cake at Walmart that had a dead fly in it!!!(my last trip in Walmart for food!!!!)
I won't even get started on the bathrooms!! And yes the bathrooms are employees jobs also...that get neglected!
In the words of rainman...Walmart workers suck

I served in Dessert Storm, so emphasize with you. I will never forget that Sundae morning, when we lost a lot of good pies and pastries to the hot fudge bombs from the sky. RIP Corporal Carrot Cake, my one true friend.

Yes, having those stickers that someone sells and puts the money in their pocket really helps our troops; I feel so proud of you.....

My daughter works at Walmart, and on Black Friday, she had items thrown at her and she was cussed at by a few shoppers. One even said hey were going to sue Walmart, because she didn't get a blue ray player.

I am NOT the one to be proud of. Our SOLDIERS are the ones to be proud of, and yes I recognized the sarcasm. I am a mom, sister, daughter, granddaughter, neice, cousin, and aunt and friend of some soldiers and they make me proud. Those stickers are there because "I" want them there. "I" want every soldier that sees the "stickers" to know I support our troops.
I did NOT claim they helped OUR troops. I merely showed some of the ways I support our troops.
I bought the American flags and that money went into some one
else's pocket also, so I really don't understand your complaint.
If you are or were military, which I seriously doubt. I would
also like to thank you for your service to our great country.

In other words, you take pride in other people's achievements.
