You are trying to cover a lot of territory hee. The next election of consequence will not be until 2014 when city council, fiscal court, sheriff, county judge executive, PVA, county attorney, state representative and jailer will all be up for re-election. With the way this county is heading it might be best if all of them were out. But, if I had to pick, I think it is time for Darwin Dennison, Gary Logsdon and all of fiscal court to go. They do absolutely nothing to benefit this county.
Oh yes

Would agree and I understand Darwin is not going to run for re-election so I guess the attention falls on Logsdon and fiscal court. But since Logsdon has such a large family and he employs so many of them, he would be hard to beat. Maybe he will do us all a favor and retire like Darwin.

I understand Turkey is not going to run again so the L-field's mayor's race should be a good one.

That one probably intrigues me the most because I don't think any of the current council members would necessarily make a good mayor. Maybe someone new and fresh will come out of the bushes. But I don't know who.

Speaking of retirement, he's heck of a nice guy, but it is time for CB Embry to step aside as well and get some new blood in Frankfort. Look at the mess Kentucky is in.

Are you kidding me CB is the only person in Frankfort I see working, he's a good man, that runs all over the state for us daily. If it were up to me he would be in Washington. If you have a problem with a state issue he will take your call personally and help you with it. I've had a few issues hes helped me with he's honest and up front with you, if he can't help you he will tell you.

Don't get me wrong. I like Mr. Embry persoanlly but look at what has happended to our state over the past decade he has been in office. State is broke, pension is underfunded, education has been cut past the point is it to the bone, unemployment is higher than the national average, median income is lower than the national average and on and on and on. Being busy and running all over the state is not the same as providing effective leadership on serious issues. It is easy to say it is not his fault and I don't fault him for creating this mess but I can fault him for not screaming at the top of his lungs to get the attention needed to correct these problems. Ask him what his plan is for correcting any of the problems noted above and what he personally is doing to fix them. If the legislature goes one more session without solving the pension problem, as just one exampel, I say he is not doing his job. He is becoming a career politician, throwing us an occasional bone, telling us what we want to hear but not finding practical solutions to huge problems. I appreciate his years of service but it is time for a change.

I think it is time for a change across the whole board, I believe everyone that can vote needs to make sure they do and do the research before voting and make sure it will be the right person for the job because we will have to have them in office for a long time. The economy is bad enough and people gets treated unfairly, so we need to be the ones to take control of the situation and make a change and hope and pray it will make things better rather than make money for the politics.

I'm for keeping the same elected officials as we have now. They draw mail box money just like me. What would they do without it?

I am in the know of A BRAC Rineyville WasteWater Scandal that has Gary Logsdon's fingerprints on it. When everyone involved in this scandal and cover-up you WILL be hearing his Name mentioned.

You have been "suggesting" this on this site for months and nothing has ever come of it. If you have something to say, say it instead of repeating the same innuendo over and over.

Hardin County Water Disrrict #2 and fiscal court have not proceeded with the project since receiving the final draft from the engineering company!

Just wait, as I am, until announcement comes that the project has been canceled or that construction begins on a certain date.

That is when in either case the schit will begin to splatter against the fan even more than it already has been splattering!

Judge Logsdon, just what do you think is going to be said about you, if the project procedes? Can you spell SCANDAL COVER-UP Attempt and NOW EXPOSURE on the heels of BRAC Rineyville WasteWater Scandal/Project! It is gonna get ya Gary, all the Negative Media Exposure you could "NEVER" want: exposing just some of your corrupt ways!

So, what is Judge Logsdon getting out of this deal? Educate us!

Look no further than the 2009 ice storm when a contract was given to one man for over $200,000. $19,500 per month to keep it below the $20,000 bid requirement. The fiscal court and judge did this and not a single person said anything about it. If they can do that and not have an outcry from the citizens, I'm sure they will all be in there for a very long time.
