Everyone look out for a man of average build, in his 30s. Possibly driving a jeep.

Hey kids, they did him a favor. Now he can't drive to Iraq and get killed fighting in an illegal and immoral war that benefits only Israel and the treasonous elites. Want to really help him? Join the revolution at the Second Vermont Republic. Death to the system.

It is also quite obvious that these kids could teach YOU about grammar. There should be a question mark after "Drive to Iraq".

"A witness saw a man of average build who appeared to be in his 30s get in the Jeep and turn right onto Hempstead Turnpike."

Great reporting Newsday! Is that the best you can do?

I'll call the police when I see a Jeep with a driver who fits that description.

Thank god I am 29 man of average build and not in my 30's. Otherwise I would be a suspect.

What's the point of these little kids writing letters like this to a person who's not even going to read it? They should educate kids on more important issues in society. I agree with getting the kids involved in things to make it interactive, but how about something with a point?

You are such a fool. What is more important than illustrating to kids the concept of right vs. wrong, especially as to how it relates to our brave soldiers. Also, Newsday is reporting the story so, if nothing else, the thief may get scruples and indeed do the right thing, assuming he reads the paper. This is such a shame.

It was sad in sarcasm, therefore no question mark is needed.

I understood the sarcasm, you still should've had a question mark there...otherwise it doesn't make sense, you uneducated dolt.

Especially as it relates to our berave soldiers ? So you want to teach these kids that its ok to steal as long as you dont steal from our brave soldiers ?? Lets try and remember that hes NO better than anyone else.

Dear Man Who Stole the Jeep,

1) You're mean!

2) If I were you, I'd give the Jeep back real fast, because these kids mean business!

You forgot..
3) Why would you steal the jeep of a soldier when there are plenty of jeeps owned by just plain everyday ordinary people.
