I wonder if this employer hired this illegal from a "hiring site" then they should sue all the politicians that endorsed that site. You need something done in this country you should be going to those collecting unemployment from this country. If somebody is hiring somebody illegally they are compromising many other ways they run there business. We can't keep going on this way as a country.

We need to protect workers from greedy business owners such as this.

We also need to protect individuals who are likely to be subjected to these conditions by securing our borders.

William Lattarulo is not the only one guilty of this mans death.

Each one of us are also guilty, for continuing to allow people to come here illegally and thus subjecting them to just this type of situation.

We owe it to the victim to secure our borders to ensure that no other individual is subjected to what amounts to slave labor, and the dangerous working conditions that follow.

You know if this guy was cutting corners to save 90K even if it was dangerous, you have to wonder about all his other constuction jobs. I'm sure all thise he hired was underpaid, no benefits, no health insurance. I'm sure all illegal immigrants who won't complain. Send this guy packing to Sing Sing. Maybe he can learn how to build a sandbox there without killing somebody.

{He castigated the city for holding news conferences instead of inspecting work sites}--- from the defense lawyer, of course. So if the city would have inspected his worksite this would not have happened???

"He castigated the city for holding news conferences instead of inspecting work sites"

How about he castigate his client to obey the law instead of taking shortcuts to save money at the risk of endangering the lives of his workers.
