Should we just forward this to Jay Leno now, or what for him to find it himself?

The Keystone Cops never had it this good. Maybe Malverne should throw in a few more days off for good behavior. A typical Long Island taxpayer rip-off...

I can't believe this stuff. I just got back from my Sunday
morning workout and I am having a really crummy
morning. I lost my mojo at the dojo and that was a
no no. Then, I come home and read this. These
small town cops got it made. Let's face it - Malverne
is not exactly a high crime area. What bull.

NCPD gets Flag Day as a Holiday ! and who knows what others, don't forget the blood days, for donating blood, and full pension, lifetime benefits, etc. etc. etc. Sooner or later we will realize we cannot continue this perks and pleasure because the taxpayers will have been bleed dry.

What about giving the Malverne police officers National Donut Day. That way, they get paid for doing exactly nothing.

The head man in the county, Tom Suozzi, is part and parcel, mostly by his silence, to all this stupidity.

Decent citizens, in this case, the policemen, should not take these bogus perks and continue to rip-off tax payers. But they do.

Same guys that want to bang you big bucks for no seat belt. How pathetic.

Go give blood for a paid day off, then try and convince yourselves and others that you "donated" that blood. You give a bad name to people that actually "donate" blood.

If decency means anything, this crap has to stop and the policemen should be the first to put an end to it.

I ain't holding my breath.

I bet property taxes can be reduced if these police unions are disbanded and these perks removed. The same goes for the school unions.
