My neighbor's son got one of those alert letters. I've got backup drives but none of them contain sensitive information.

There is a mobile encryption program that can be used on those backup drives to assure the data is protected, why wasn't any encryption used? You would think that since this is the military they would be all over encrypting everything they put in the computer...
