News flash I never married the first guy. I left him cause I found out he did drugs and later found out I was pregnant by him. He has been in contact with his child in almost a year. Only contacts her on her birthday. So yea I'd call that deadbeat.
Interesting post.Lets break this down with an open unbiased mind and look at it with an analitical viewpoint. Maybe then we can put all your posts in the proper perspective. Hmmmmmmmmm, Lets see here.

You had sex ( fornicated)with a low life drughead deadbeat loser BUT you did not realize he was this way until AFTER you got pregnent.

Our current policy on marijuana simply doesn't make good economic sense. We are spending billions of dollars in this country to arrest, prosecute and imprison people for something that is less harmful than alcohol. We have spent billions on the War on Drugs and have very little to show for it. We have been able to significantly reduce tobacco use through public education programs. I bet, if we made tobacco illegal today, its use would increase overnight. Even if you believe marijuana is evil, you have to admit our current policy of locking people up for it is just silly. Its time to step back and take a fresh look at the drug issue and take a new approach. What we're doing just isn't working ver well. But, there is a huge law enforcement industry that is funded and sustained by the War on Drugs and they will continue to scare people so that the taxpayers will continue to support spending billions and billions while accomplishing very little.

And, by the way, if people are lazy and irresponsible, its probably because that's the way they are, not because marijuana made them that way. I doubt that, if you could suddenly cut off their access to marijuana, that they would suddenly become responsible upstanding citizens.

And, before you assume I'm someone who just wants to get high ...I've never tried marijuana or any other illegal drug. You don't have to smoke marijuana to see that our current drug policies are collossal failures and wastes of money and lives.

I don't assume everyone that votes yes is a druggie.. I said MOST that vote yes just want it legal for personal misuse. And called arky poster one cause he admitted to being part of the "most" I was referring to. And I do not agree that people shouldn't be put in jail for being caught with it. People get killed over the crap by dealers not getting their money and other stupid things. There is so much crime because of drugs. And anyone that grows it or gets caught with it that is misusing it for their own personal satisfaction because they can't deal with life and they need an "escape" are shitbags that need to be locked up.
If you don't agree with me then fine but I will NOT agree with you. Drugs are a no good waste of life.

Yes. He didn't do anything around me and I didn't know he did it until he got arrested for having it on him when he was out with friends. I broke up with him and later found out I was pregnant. He promised he would be a good dad but I refused to get back with him and I moved on as a single mom. Have received only one call from him in the past year and a half and that was on my kids birthday.

I've never smoked it. Probably never will but I can see the medical uses and agree taxing it will help control it. Open your minds people. Can you not see that the media over the years controls what information you recover on topics around the US? All the misinformation back in the 80s and early 90s is still sticking with people. We have the Internet now for Gods sake. Do some research for yourself and get the facts on the true benefits and stop placing your wager on the breath of someone else and their opinion.

I don't care what other people say or the debates on it. I do not care for drugs personally and I want it to stay illegal. I'm not doing research or listening to the political debates. I could care less about the politics. But when I see something like this actually being considered I will vote based solely on my and my families best interest.
