I really find it quite funny that people are complaining about a gun range being loud... next they'll be complaining about rain being wet and asking the city of Bothell to relocate the clouds during the winter.

Don't blame the gun range. They were here before any of us, and you are objecting to something that is literally an unavoidable part of how they do business. What time do they close? Is it really that onerous to wait until then? Why did you move next to a gun range in the first place if noise was going to be an issue? It's like moving to an apartment over a bar, and then filing noise complaints for the live music at the venue beneath your feet. You're literally ruining their business and blaming it for your slumping property values when the property market has been tanking for years.

So this Ass says his house was there ti the 70's. My Father, Brother and I went to the Kenmore Ranges in the early 60's when I was a small boy and it was not new then. We Watched the Houses and Housing Projects Build up around the WCW, and Knew then there would be Horses Asses like this one Making Ridiculous claims In the hopes that the uninformed would believe his blatant Lies.

You are fuzzy on your history. The gun range dates back to the mid 1950's, so the people who live near it moved next to an existing facility unless they have lived there for over 50 years.

Why would anyone in their right mind put a gun range near houses.
Before you start thinking that the gun range was there before any of the houses in the area, I near 216th St SW. My house has been here since the early seventies, it was there before Kenmore Gun Range.
I've contacted the city and they said they will do nothing about it because the cops go there to practice. Why do the cops not have their own in-house gun range somewhere?
Once more reason I hate living in this backwards city.

Please try to show that gun owners are better than the people who post annoying and inaccurate comments. Comments like this do nothing to support the cause of people who like shooting as a hobby.

I live with in 1 mile from the kenmore range. The noise is not nearly as bad as all the loud, rude kids in the neighborhood. Get a life. Over entitled breeders...

bold face lie sir

"The club purchased our current property in 1953. The purchase price of $9,000 was paid off over 10 years, and was our first and last outside debt. At the time, our 80 acre property was at the end of the road with typical rural surroundings." oh what?! didn't think someone would call you on your bull? i didn't know it was there that long but i went there as a kid with my gramps a few times it was in the middle of no where then now...not so much you don't like it GTFO!

Agreed, it is annoying, however.........
Several agencies use it because it it close, and outdoors. Given the recent issues associated with the indoor range in Bellevue and Everett over the lead and un-burned powder contamination, the local law enforcement agencies really have no where to go, and given the rate that the political wheels turn, the permit process and approval of an indoor range, years if not decades. I made use of it to train up and qualify my soldiers on occasions where the scores were needed. Yes, it was slow and tedious with single shooting a .22, but it served the purpose and made a difference. If the local communities would get together and work with the range to curtail the noise with sound reduction barriers or berms around the perimeter of the range, it's a win-win for all

Gun range has been there since the 50's, long before most of the "houses" were here. It's also in Snohomish County, outside of the City of Bothell limits. Ive lived nearby since the 80's as well, and its a well managed, excellent place to safely shoot, whether it be firearms, archery and such. You didn't have to buy a house near a gun range, if you don't like it....

Glad the Wildlife guys have the range there, Definately will continue to support it, and patronize it.

I have been here 30 years and the gun range is so loud now It Bolts me out of my bed. Can those guns have Mufflers on them. I paid twice the taxes now and understand people need to practice. But the noise is out of control.
