Is it now? People who kill themselves kill THEMSELVES. If anyone else does the killing that's a whole other issue. We call that murder. NOT suicide.

Anyone who is that fragile needs professional help immediately. Anyone who knows anyone who is that fragile could try to help save their life, and intervene to get the person the immediate, professional help they need.

Anyone who attempts to guilt trip someone else by hurting themselves, or threatening to hurt themselves, needs immediate professional help.

ANY professional can help a person in need access that help. Teacher, doctor, clergyman, ANYONE. if you can't think of anyone, call the emergency room. Call 911. Death is so final, and a solution to dealing with whatever the issue is much closer than you might think.

Where as you made some good points...there are some things I must argue.

People who kill themselves, are just that..people. You talk about them as if they're something less than.
Not all people who are suicidal are in the same boat as people who need to seek professional help.
For example, there are medications that have suicidal thoughts as a side effect. The person may not even be aware of that, and something could trigger them and then it's a problem.

I also want to argue that there is a difference between being suicidal, and having thoughts.
Because its one thing to think, and another to act. I know from personal experience, as irrational as it is, I experience the thoughts of suicide, yet I know I would never do such a thing.

Also, some people who seriously contemplate suicide don't show a single sign to people who aren't with them 24/7. So talking about them on a site, means they are bound to find out, and it could seriously be affecting them, without anyone knowing. Which I think is the point that was trying to be made.
Just thrown that out there.

Anyone who is thinking about suicide, for whatever reason, needs to seek professional help.

If you express suicidal ideations to a mental health professional, they will evaluate you. There IS a difference between having suicidal 'thoughts'(although that person is on thin ice, in my opinion), and having the motivation and means of carrying it out. That difference needs to be determined. Anyone who is truly suicidal is in NO state of mind to determine that themselves.

And you're absolutely right. We lose people every day who make no expression whatsoever. This is most unfortunate, because this means that no person anywhere was close enough to know anything was wrong.

There are also people who, unfortunately enough, threaten suicide to seek attention. Again, something is wrong there, and that person really needs some help.

If anyone is depressed enough to be thinking about suicide(or experiencing a side effect) that is no way to live. Something needs to change. Get help.

And I still say that people who end their own lives do so themselves. Nobody does it for them, that's a whole other issue. There is a blame game that some people play when they hurt themselves for attention, and sometimes go further than they wanted to go. GET HELP.

That's what I said.

No, look back on most of your other posts (including the ones using your many other names,) "it" is your standard pronoun for other people.
