The sign advertises a brand known for prostitution and drug dealing. Nice, when we are trying to attract tourists here... let's make very sure this is what visitors see on their way to the golf course or ski area. It's a great thing for Malone to be remembered for.
The Village has every right on earth to pass and enforce sign ordinances. If it were up to me the police would be all over that place like white on rice, constantly. There WOULD be arrests and prosecution for ALL illegal activity. That there is not raises some very serious questions about law enforcement and criminal prosecution in this county. And questions about just WHO is ultimately profiting from the criminal activity in this community.
Luckily, it is NOT up to me and nether is anything ELSE frankly.

What a hypocrite. You have been busting my chops about having reported the illegal sign in front of the motorcycle club and here you are preaching law and order for all. For me it is proof positive that you donít care what you say. Just on and on and on Ė first one way and then another. Are you sure youíre not a lawyer because your ability to change your stance on a subject is uncanny.

Arrogance and Ignorance donít make you right.

And as usual YOU have NO IDEA who you're talking to, or WHAT you're talking about. Stop citing my posts while you are referring to FAKE YUP. It just makes you look EXTREMELY STUPID.
Or maybe you ARE FAKE YUP. I sure wouldn't put it past you.
So register and we will all know the real Yup - or is there a reason you choose to allow all the "yups". I suppose you can always say "I didn't post that. It was a fake Yup." and say anything you want with only topix to censure you for threats and lies.

I was unaware that the Highwaymen are breaking any laws. I can see where living on Duane Street with bikers reving their bikes all hours would be a problem; a noise problem. Although, last Christmas the Highwaymen made a significant donation from their dues to the Franklin Department of Social Services for gifts for needy children in county custody, etc. That has to say something about the character of this crew. If riding bikes in Malone, New York makes these people happy, seldomly grooming themselves, and yard parties on their property....so be it...until they actually break any laws. I wish there were more organizations that donated to the needy as this group did.

All i know is i am sick of hearing these guys rev there motorcycles when they go by my house. It has gotten so bad my 2 year old runs screaming when they drive by and my daughter has never really been scared of anything since she started walking and talking. It makes me irate that the malone PD are so called boys in blue are doing nothing. Funny if you have a loud muffler on your car you get a ticket. Why isnt it the same law for motor bikes right. I mean really come on maybe i am the only one that feels this way but it is sicking to hear this crap at all hours of the night . It also makes me mad when my child is trying to sleep at night i hear the load roars from the bikes and wakes my daughter. Something really needs to be done about this crap
Loud Pipes Saves Lives.. Bike r alot smaller than cars.. loud pipes sometimes works better than a horn does.. but i also have respect for folks in the evening/ overnight hrs too..

It is against the law to have pipes on a motorcycle that are too loud. The PD can enforce the law. Call them yourself instead of whining on here.
Yeah. Right. Like they'll do anything about it. It's also against the law to have loud sound systems installed in your vehicle. Do they ever do anything about that? They should try that in Vermont. You're ticketed if they can hear your radio outside of the car with the windows up. That's the truth.
It's like a friend of mine who got a ticket because his windows were tinted too dark. He hired a lawyer who then went to the PD and made them test the windows on some of the officer's personal cars. Guess what? There wasn't one of them that was legal. Jerry Moll had to have his boys take care of that. The case was dismissed by the way. True story.
Loud cycles and loud radios annoy people and are against the law but until we get some cops that know how to do their jobs, forget it. They're no good for anything except serving papers on people.
The law actually reads that the muffler noise is no more than 75 dB at a distance of 25 ft. The same for radios. It's all in the state laws on the internet. Easy to find.

Yall been watching too much "Sons of Anarchy" The "Hells Angels" are friends with these guys. Yes motorcycles are loud and yes bikers like to party. They also like to make donations to Charitable Foundations etc. As far as the "assumptions" that all MC's are drug dealers and run prostitution rings well... wheres the proof? Some of you just sit back and judge the guys in the club and you know nothing. Most of them are good men who work for agencies like the Highway Department or Village Public works keeping the roads safe for you and your kids so take your stereotypes back to Middle school and try growing up a bit and learn to give those who are different then you a fair shake because your feet cant taste that good in your mouths. seriously?
