when i was drinking and going out the bars and no smokeing came into effect a lot of places made a smokeing area out side and since many who drink smoke the numbers droped in customers, the chose not too, but as you watched the customer that came they were bottle babies, most bought a bottle of water and sipped on it all night. the owners expenses went up sales went down i guess my point is if you dont like the place or area dont go its your choice , perfumes air fresheners hair sprays, and many more things arent good for asmatics and other people but you dont see a wave of people fighting to stop contaminating free air space to stop these

Not a smoker but we all have our rights, where yours end mine begin. There are much worse habits than smoking.
One example: Being a drunk is more acceptable these days then being a smoker. Think about all the broken homes, rehab, hosp. visits; Americans pick up the tab for. Let's see then there is the druggie, the abuser, etc., etc., ad infintium.

Those who smoke are in complete denial. They know it is bad for them and everyone else around them but they do not have the will power to quit or are so ignorant they believe "car" emmissions are far worse..Just another excuse to continue smoking..I say go ahead and kill yourself because every cig is taking your life away. If you care so little about your health and your families well being then continue your death spiral...Stop defending your bad habit and own it for what it is!

You know those guys who smoke like chimneys down at the fair. A lot of them have flannel shirts on despite the heat and always, always a sweat stained cap on their head that looks like it might have been perched there since the ice storm of 98. Faces with several days worth of uncut whiskers on them maybe even months or years on many. Then they come up close to you and your nostrils are assailed by a stench that is so extreme and powerful that you don't even know what it is.......it affects you physically makes you feel a bit disoriented that smell combined with the heat and the noise of the fair.....and then this man with the flannel shirt, sweaty bao seball cap, and bushy whiskers and incredible stench is standing right beside you now. He takes the cig out of his mouth to give you a full mouth smile and all that you see are the same bare gums that he had as a baby. He saw you look at him and now he thinks you might like him.Even though you were just glancing at him in disgust...trying not to become nauseous. Dreams can be made at the Franklin County Fair Folks........the fair has and will make miracles in thousands more lives for many more years to come.

I'm elated that all of the riff - raff from Malone meet daily at the fair. This assures that anyone passing through Malone who stops at the fair will get to see what we have to deal with here.

Why are you all so mean on here, get a life. We are who we are, not perfect, not smelling like flowers, and teeth?? That is your focus in life? Stay home, stop judging and thinking you are all so perfect. And if you are perfect good for you, now stop nit picking everyone that is not perfect in your pitiful mind.

I went to the fair last night to watch the concert and sat up in the stands. The fair staff said several times there is no smoking anywhere in the stands or on the walk way...several times. When it got dark everyone lit up and the smell of smoke was so heavy in the air all through the grand stand. I guess I will stay to home the next time because the lack of respect the smokers show is to much for me. I am disgusted...I am sure I am not the only one.

I was in the stands at the concert. I saw several people smoke on the track and a couple walk down the aisle when they smoked. but the smell of smoke was NOT heavy in the air throughout the stands. I didn't smell it at all. it's not OK to smoke there, but you really exagerrate stan.

Those addicts could never sit through a concert without lighting up. If you have to smell their smoke ...too bad is the way they think. Do you think someone who has never taken a bath or a shower is going to care if you have to smell their stenchy smoke also? Malone IS NOT noted for it's intelligence and class.

The point is to all that lit up in the stands last night is that it's a fire hazzard. Maybe you don't mind putting your life in danger bit I mind a lot. God forbid you go without a cigarette for a few hours. Have some common decency for other around you.

So are you all saying, the cops and or the Fire Dept can't or won't give out tickets? Could raise some much needed cash in the name of fines. xd

So I get spammed and I am clueless, should have known not to waste my time, it takes common sense to understand, and you people lack common sense. Like I said you are all perfect, and you all smell so sweet and have perfect teeth, oh and wear silk, god forbid if you wear flannel? You all need to get a life!! Don't like the smoke and low life people, oh and let us not forget all the welfare rats, stay home in your perfect world. I have wore a flannel shirt down there, and I do not smoke and I have all of my teeth and guess what I am not on welfare!
