Yeah... if this is true... GO FOR IT!

Drive the Monettes into impossible insurance rates, or, better yet, total bankruptcy.

They'd do it to you, given half a chance... I always knew that these people exist to grind up the common man and spit him out, I just never expected that it would happen, literally. How poetic!

Huh... blood and gore, in the snow. This should almost be worse for business than making snow with the sewage from the river.

Karma is AMAZING, sometimes.

I can't believe that you are that evil in what you just posted (Are you Nancy Riech?)
But you are right Karma is AMAZING and you will get yours some day.
Are you forgetting a person was hurt and all you can think about is hurting some one else.
You are sick.

Hey... what goes around, comes around.

Safety FIRST... it's the responsibility of EVERY employer. Even the drunk ones, even those who think the entire North Country is their slave pit.

We can continue... care to dance???

Seems an employee had a freak accident with a snow making machine. Very sad and unfortunate. I hope he's doing ok.

Freak accident? You must be a Monette. Bring OSHA in. Certainly the site was not secured properly.

No. Not a Monette. Sorry to disappoint you. Small town. Everyone knows everyone. Information isn't hard to come by.

I can't stand one single Monette. They're all a bug bunch of windbags drunks from the parents on down. I hate to say this but they provide much needed jobs. Yes - they're not the best jobs but they ARE jobs. Malone needs this. As pompous and egotistical that they all are, I'd hate to see them lose anything that they've got. It would mean too many people out of work. The one exception is the bar that one of them owns. That's a disgrace to Malone. But the other places, well, they're bringing in money. One night one of them is going to be drunk and end up killing somebody. And they WON'T get out of that one. Unless of course they have the same judge as Nancy Riech and the same prosecutors bring the case to court. It's too bad Ronnie's such an outcast from the rest of them. He'd fit right in with the beer and drinking.

If any of you pulled your heads out do your arses and tried to get to know the monettes, you may be surprised at how kind and generous they truly are.

Sorry. I'm particular about who I hang out with.

And YES... OSHA is a good place to start.

This person is disabled for life. GET A GOOD LAWYER FROM OUT OF TOWN. DO NOT SETTLE. MOVE THE TRIAL OUT OF HERE!

But get what you are going to need.

I couldn't imagine losing a limb. That is absolutely horrible. I really hope this person fights all urges to be a 'nice guy', and gets what he needs. His employers are NOT nice guys. There is NO WAY this would have happened in the presence of adequate safety protocols, and adequate supervision. Regardless of anything the employee may have done or not done, this is the total responsibility of the employer. And any judge who is not a crook would agree.

And jobs? Um, NO. There are slave labor situations that would pay considerably more, were there any competition whatsoever. The Monettes today are exactly what Tru Stitch was here for decades, and they use all of the same tactics. If they were sued into oblivion I, for one, would not shed a tear.

His name is Rick Malley from Owls Head. I hope the extra we pay for gas helps this poor man.

He needs to get what he needs in terms of medical care and rehabilitation (and he needs a LAWYER... DO NOT screw around with Workers' Comp, let the LAWYER do it. It will not cost him ANYTHING out of pocket... the judge will determine what the EMPLOYER'S INSURANCE will pay the lawyer), and then he needs to be very aggressive about getting what he needs. And I'll say it again... if I were him, I would not trust ANY LAWYER around here... I'm sure there are some very competent lawyers around here, but count on it... the phrase,'thick as thieves' comes to mind. Go to Syracuse, go to Albany, go to New York City. He needs to GET what he needs. He needs to get everything he has coming.

Not that any amount of money can compensate for this. I couldn't imagine going through anything like this. It is one horrible, life- changing incident. He will never be the same. But life finds a way, always. And a hefty settlement will help.

how do you KNOW this? if you do KNOW this and you failed to act on it, you are as much to blame as the people you are blaming. and don't give me your "it's not my responsibility" blather. you tell us everyone but you is responsible to protect others, but you're wrong-it's your's too.
last report is the man is doing as well as can be expected.

Had there been ADEQUATE safety measures in place, and effective SUPERVISION to assure that safety protocols were being followed, there would have been NO accident.

NOW... do I have to draw you freaking pictographs?

Are you REALLY that freaking STUPID???

I spent a lifetime assuring workplace safety and training managers to do the same. THAT'S how I freaking know this.

Why on earth do YOU seem to think that because YOU don't know something or that YOU can't do something, that NOBODY can???

This is ABSOLUTELY the fault of the employer.

'Herkimer' is in this 18 post thread, with 3 different IDs.

What a silly, vain attempt at damage control.

Sorry. That is NEVER gonna fly.

If it is how you say I can't help but wonder why they call it an ACCIDENT? With human negligence and just the plain old fact that no one is perfect NOTHING is 100% preventable... I think your jealousy and hatred is preventing your rational thought process, or else you wouldn't be speaking such foolishness. I do agree the man should be compensated, but to place the entire blame on the employer is absolutely ignorant (and par for this website).

how do you KNOW there weren't adequate safety measures or supervision. are you so stupid to believe that we believe your BS? why on earth do YOU seem to think that just because YOU think you KNOW what happened that it happened that way. just because you want us to BELIEVE that you trained other people (and i don't believe it) doesn't mean you KNOW what happened. why on earth do YOU seem to think that because YOU THINK you know something or that YOU think people will believe your lies about who you are or what you've done, that what you say MUST be TRUE. only person your lying to is you. blow your ego horn all you want, it's clear your only interest is in running down everything and everyone whose not you.
