If you look at a lot of the folks in Malone you will notice one dominant trait, The majority of the local people's bottom jaw protrude outwards, giving them a somewhat simian appearance from a side view.

Take a look at the places Jack and Elvira own on Morton and Park streets.

They're dumps that haven't seen paint in 30 years or more. They tried "fixing" the one on Morton by slapping some blue paint on it. Well, 2/3rds down one side at least. But you know what? The blankets nailed over the windows at those places make the paint look even worse.

It's too bad all of the dumpy tenements can't be in the same sector of the village. Look at Milwaukee st. That used to be one of the most beautiful streets in the village and now the welfare tenements are slowly, but steadily, encroaching the street. Look at the corner of Pearl and Seaver. That used to be a nice rental building for working folks and now look at it. If you walk by there, you can smell the stink of it from the street. Academy st. is also getting gobbled up by these type of places.

You need to go back to school and learn to spell and use the English language before you can expect anyone to take you seriously.

I ask again, do you ever reply to the topic or are you capable only of personal and childish replies?

they pay 5-600 a month in Malone. These places are not HUD approved. Not sure where that came from. They wouldn't be approved by any agency.
I have been in one building that is HUD approved( I didn't live there), and it use to be an old cattle barn. The place smelled of grain, was full of fleas, and the apartments were nothing more than a bunch of narrow hallways with doors on them. The bedrooms could barely hold a twin bed drop in from the door with no room to walk around them. I always thought that HUD had requirements for room sizes, and that every room had to have at least one window in it, but not this place. I know there are at least 12 apartments in this building, and some apartments have one window for the whole unit. The cheapest rent in the building is $550.00 per month. I would just like to know how the hell they got it approved for HUD in the first place, as it is a death trap waiting to happen when a fire breaks out.

the people in charge on the take as usual. money to money for the click. the slum get slumier and the rich get richer.they steal from the poor to make themselves richer, with no concern for the poor.they will be living in cardboard houses if it continues and still have to give them welfare money for rent. the rich people getting richer off the system. they have the nerve to complain about pook people receiving welfare to live .they wont give grants for new businesses, only to people in the click. they scoff up the grant money for thei own use

How many people on welfare are applying for grants to start new businesses? Your accusations sound like a conspiracy theory and class envy.

Study hard in school, and you can receive an education. if you messed that up the first time around, head to a community college and start over. Work hard, and you can achieve success.

I am talking about the average working person trying to get a grant. they throw out little grants once in a while, but the hard core grants are kept for the click or people/firms with money.
Even fedral grants are like that its a trend.
for lnstance , Guildans , they were getting $50,000 grants twice a year while making '$1,000,000 a WEEK PROFIT' from the bombay plant olone. It was posted on their web site for the public to see. But thats 'good politics'to deprive the americans and set up forien business to send the money to another country.

there are plenty of people with college education that cannot find good jobs around malone. you have to know someone. or buy thick knee pads to get in the click. it does not matter what you know or the edu. you have. Also to get a start somewhere else takes money that most people dont have because they are gust getting by. Im not talking welfare people;people that work . cheap imployers hoard their money and some only hire part time help. Its not like it used to be when employers would take care of the people that was making them money. employers are becoming overly selfish and overly greedy
. some of them should be given 40 lashes.

This is easy. Simply take all welfare away from everyone. PERIOD. Then the trash would leave this county for Essex county. Yeah, I know some people need it but what did they do before we had welfare? THeir family's had to pony up and help them out.
I think in order to get welfare people should have to go back and get a GED, then get trained in some job or sorts, be screened by a court assigned doctor for ailments or "back trouble" and the they get a small check to carry them over. That's it. Food is provided by a food bank and consist of food that require cooking. No more Burger King or Big Macs. If a tattoo shows up on someone's arm, their next check is reduced the same amount as what that tattoo costs. Clothes can be provided by second hand shops. Staples can be handed out from a central warehouse along with food stuffs. No pets allowed. No cell phone. And the only phones they can have are the ones we're paying for with our "universal service fee" on our phone bills that Ma Bell convinced the FCC to let them charge us for people who can't otherwise afford a phone. No cars. Taxi vouchers only and limit those. ALcohol and drug testing every month when they go to get their checks.
You want to cure the problem? You need to get tough on the people abusing the system. ANd then you need to vote every damn county official out of office who allowed this to happen to begin with.
Put your foot down and refuse to take it anymore. Vote their asses out and keep doing it until they get the idea that they better do a better job.
Welfare CAN be cured. But it's gonna hurt some people. Fortunately it's only the people who have been hurting us.

Your proposed "program" would cost more than it saves. Who's going to pay for all of this? What central food bank? What doctors? Why no cell phones when they are free through Tracfone and cost the taxpayer nothing? Who will do the inspections for tattoos? Who will pay for the taxis? Who will pay for the drug and alcohol testing? Do you know how many people, even working people, are on Medicaid, Child Health Plus and SNAP in this county? Perhaps you should do some research and get back to us. Wow.
