sexual predators on halloween

i heard that a lot of sexual predators come out for attacks the most on halloween. my family will be staying home with the doors locked this year thank you very much. because the police arent going to stop them.

Please do a follow up on how many sexual attacks there are in the area on Halloween. I doubt there will be a statistically significant increase over any other comparable weekend.

Although stranger predators get the most news and hate, statistics show the victim almost always knows the attacker. The attacker is almost always a family member or friend.

This is something parents should be vigilant on EVERYDAY, not just Halloween. It is a scary world.

did any sexual predators try anything this year? we didnt turn on our lights this year and closed all our doors and curtains. i know that my children were safe but there were a lot of scary noises out in the streets and i wasnt sure if any kids were being assaulted or not.

This has to be a joke post. If not.....seriously?! Dont let your kids participate in one of the BEST holidays?! Can you not walk down the street with them and keep an eye on them? I walked with both mine and no one even approached them. People like you who are so scared of stupid stuff like this are the ones who are scared of "government takeovers" and keep guns in ur house where your children can find them & have an accident. Makes me sick that the churches in this area were trying to demonize a holiday that just gives kids and adults a chance to dress up in silly or scary costumes and eat candy. No one is doing in Satanic rituals or worshipping demons- well, some are but I put them in the same class as you :-) Churches encouraging kids to NOT dress up before they come up to the church to get candy? Whats the purpose in that? If ya believe in Jesus and want to do what he thinks is good or cool....wouldnt he laugh at all the costumes...or shriek like a little girl at the scary ones?! Stop overprotecting your kids. It makes them outcasts in social situations and creates psychological problems later in life. If the same happened to you....well, give your kids a better life. Hopefully my mean spirited words just give you a different perspective on life. It just makes me mad when people neglect nurturing their kids.

And by the way, the MPD was out in the park area in a "side by side" 4 wheeler watching everyone and cars patrolled the whole time as well.

the news said that halloween is the only thing that sexual predators cant get into trouble for which i think is very wrong we need to call our governors and tell them about it

All of you are ignorant. You must not know the laws, or watch the news. Every sex offender MUST stay in their home on Halloween from 5pm to 10:30 pm, and they must also post a sign on there door that says, NO CANDY OR TREATS AT THIS ADDRESS. And the highway patrol and local cops check. They have too. For if they do not check, and someone is victimized, they enforcement agency can get sued. Also if a sex offender does not place the sign, or stay in, it is an automatic trip to jail and charge of a felony. If they are caught outside of their house, that too is a charge. There is a sex offender that lives next to me. His crime regarded the internet, and an undercover cop. No victim, no meeting no molestation. Yet he has to register every 3 months, and everything else. I do not understand why if there was no victim that on must be forced to follow such guidelines. I understand rapists, and pedophiles, and whatnot, but over the internet and no victim. I actually feel for the guy.

lt me guess its one of your good friends that is the sex offender and he is now this perfect man......WRONG he is still praying on little girls after 17 years he is not better he needs to pay for the rest of his life. He needs to know that he is a horrible moster that should rot in hell. I know who your talking about and the girl he molested was 13 and he still looks at little girls I can not believe that people let him have his nieces and stuff over he is a sex offender and he always will be.
