I remember your mom, she was a wonderful lady. I know that when you lose someone you love so much that you just can't believe that a whole year has passed already. May God bless and comfort you.

we will miss you always . your were like a grandmother and a mom rolled in one to me .there isn't a day that goes by that i don't think of you.i remember you always telling me stories of back when you were young and i would just soak up every word ,because you always shared stories with me like no other person in my life ever did and you treated my like one of your own.the funniest is when you would get that fly swatter after the boys , no matter how big they was they knew you'd get that tail . my heart will always cherish every memory you gave .

Daphna was one fine lady and would do anything to help anyone. I just remember her trying to keep Dave straight and taking care of him. I truely loved both of them and will always miss them. She was the best thing that ever happened to him. May the memories of both of them live on forever in our minds and hearts!

She was like my own mom.Her and my mom were so close when my mom was alive. Momma Allen, as I refer to her as, once told me that when my mom was suddenly taken from us that to her it was like losing a sister. When i go to pay my monthly visit to my real mom and dad, I go and pay a visit to this special lady too.Her and Daddy Allen were 2 of the greatest people that I have known in my life. They were there for me when both of my parents were gone and forever I will be thankful for having them as my second set of parents.
I miss you Momma Allen.

I wonder how many grown men out there got that fly swatter used on them. Mom was always after one of the boys with that thing and she always got new ones if her old one wore out. My youngest daughter was saying that she remembers grandma biting her on her cheek when she would go over there.Mom never bit her hard just nibbled. And the kids talk about Grandma Allen's sweet tea. No one can make it like she did.I just wish that she would have lived through this year. There are 4 new grandbabies and 1 new great grandbaby that she will never hold and spoil the way she did the others. These born this year will never know just how wonderful she was.I know we can tell them, but it won't be the same.Does anyone remember throwing limbs up into the pecan trees for her to knock them out so she could sell them for her christmas money? That was a family fun time. She loved it too.Neal and Bubba always helped her pick those pecans up too.Really whoever was there would help her. There is something that most of you probably don't know about momma. When it came to Mother's day,her birthday, and Christmas she said that she loved getting homemade gifts better than store bought because the ones that were handmade was made with love for her and she knew that the person that made it really loved her.She was and still is a very special lady. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about her, dad, and Vick. I love and miss them very much, but I know that we will be together again someday.

You are right about that.Dad was something else.Momma couldn't handle him when they were young either. She always said that it was like having 10 kids instead of 9.

I remember well the day I was working at Telkers flower shop and mothers day came around. I thought so much of her, that she was like a mom, so I made sure she knew how I felt when I made her a corsage. That was in the 70's, and she kept it till the day sher died! I love her and miss her too!

I think Bubba and kim threw it away back in the summer when they cleaned out the deepfreeze. You know mom never threw away anything. She would always say,"if I throw it away someone is sure to need it." Most of the time she was right too.lol Oh,you have a new nephew.Angie had a baby boy September 24th this year. His name is Donte Micheal Dean Rice. He is a little doll too. She can't have anymore.Well, she's not supposed to.She almost died after having him.She lost 3 units of blood. She had him at 11:35 a.m. and she started losing a lot of blood within 2 hours of having him.She said thatthe doctor had already removed 3 large bloodclots by 8 p.m.She was already pale when we got there and the nurses made everyone leave the room so they could check her and they removed another clot the size of Donte. He weighed close to 7 lbs. They told her that she almost died She said even tho she loves kids, she isn't going to have anymore for a long time. Cheyenne was only 15 months old when he was born. They are doing real good now.You can go to Nick's my space or mine and see pics of him. Love Ya,Debbie

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Libra

If someone owes you money and you're beginning to think that you'll never get it back, this is an excellent day to chase them up. They may not cave in straightaway but at least you'll have had your say and done what you can. Watch out for a tendency to lose your temper, because although this could be quite dramatic if you're usually the soul of equanimity it could work against you if you become aggressive or unpleasant.
