Either shop somewhere else or call and ask Dave you want to complain and ask him who is over him and tell them they need to watch their prices. Steve was over charging also.

Geez shopper you must not be paying for your own groceries or something. Don't you agree they have raised the prices cause they most certainly have. Why must you be so eager to attack LOL But I agree they were already to high. But they're to high in every market in every town. Wish I had an EBT card, but im just an ole hard working single white guy who can't afford a pound of ham

customer service is something I would like to see worked on by the cashiers and what happened to the baggers taking out the cart? the prices are varied some higher some lower, shop at walmart they will be higher on somethings harps is lower on and lower on somethings harps is higher on, figure in gas and it probably balances in your favor

I have always paid for my gro. I shop for some things at Alps and D. Store and Walmart. I was just saying don't gripe on here, do something about it. Some things are higher some arent'. just like everywhere else. Just think we really don't have choices, either buy it, call them on it. just shut up and stop bashing the stores in town, we need the stores, we don't need anything else to close up and move, I dn't want to shop at Dexter or Kennett, I like shopping closer to home and people complaining will drive more stores away. I have nor hope I never need a debit card.

I believe the reason the baggers stopped bagging and pushing the cart to your car was to save money.I guess they are going the same way as station attendents who used to pump your gas. But there are people who will help you load your groceries if you ask.I think the prices are a little higher than they were,so to save money I just go someplace else if I can find the item I'm looking for, and I have started buying more off brand on some things.

Everyone is WAAAAAAY better off shopping at Super Walmart in Dexter. The prices are so much lower than Harps or anywhere else. Aldi's in Poplar Bluff & Kennett is also a great low-price place. I know that we don't shop at Harps unless we need something ASAP

I don't know if you live close to Harp's or not but if you do just think of the money you spend on gas and wear and tear on your car to get to those other places. I bet you would save money if you would just pay the slightly higher prices at one of the local stores.

I shopped in their today and they had a lot of specials , I buy the things on sale each week, that help if you buy in bulk each week. I like the meat at Harps. THings are going up everywhere not just at Harps. Prices are sky rocketing everywhere.

I heard they hired a new butcher at Harps. A fella named Rob Cornett. He came highly recomended for his skill with a knife by one of those Jones Boys.

He doesn't work at the Malden harps. Maybe somewhere else but not there. I know all the guys that work there, maybe the Jones boy doesn't know everything.

Don't get me wrong ... alot of things have changed since Harps came to town, but that doesn't always mean it's bad. Yeah some prices did go up, BUT the economy is bad... if you havn't noticed EVERYTHING has gone up. Some prices have also went down... but nobody likes to comment on the good things just the bad things. The baggers were gone before Steve even left. There is always a bagger there however, and we would be more then happy to take anybody grocery's out at any time. All you have to do is ask (if we don't ask first) ... Working in the public isn't always a easy job ... we all do the best we can.

I agree with "Friend" shop local, keep the local folk employed. May not be highest wages, may be too high groceries, we all live where we live and it is the same all across the USA.

Wal-mart is cheaper because they buy bulk and can afford to. Which reminds me, everyone needs to go get their Pepsi 24 packs before the 29th, sale ends. 4.98. Or go to schnucks, food giant, or harps because they have 4 for 12...5 for 12 if you have the coupon. Plus 2 liters of pepsi products are 1 dollar...which wont last long either. Food Giant and Schnucks SaveALot r cheaper than wal-mart...but that's here in cape...
