#1 Butch should have called my sister as soon as it happened
#2 He should have had some kind of repect for the family
#3 He should have had insurance on his employees
#4 The auction damn sure shouldnt go on tonight!! and #5 Im sure theres so many more things but unlike people im more worried about the family that im not gonna discuss it further at this time but I will most definetly be back!!
Shouldn't you be consoling your sister in her time of need rather than posting on topix?

The Burrow family does care Steve's wife was there. They all like Steve. It was a very bad accident. Poeple don't need to make it worse for the family.

I knew this wouldn't take long....number one, I am so sorry for the loss. I can't even imagine. Everyone thought a lot of Steve. There isn't anyone that he wouldn't have helped. He thought a lot of Butch, and Butch of him. There is no need to make matters worse by posting nonsense on this site. No one knew how to get ahold of Steve's wife from what I understand. I can't stress enough how bad I feel for his family. It was a terrible accident. And an accident it was. I know things are said in the heat of the moment. I also know that Butch will be the first one to help the family any way he can. Sadley, things happen for no good reason. It's a shame that it had to happen to Steve today. But I'll bet if he were here with us now, he wouldn't appreciate all the trash talking that's going on already. Just be thinking of the family, and quit bashing Butch Burrow. He was good to Steve, and helped him time after time, in many different ways. Just because this happend on his property doesn't make him a bad person. He's is as upset over this as anyone. "Weasel"....you will be missed! God Bless You!!!

First, and MOST IMPORTANTLY-I want to send my deepest sympathies to Steve's family. He was a great guy with a heart as big as the outdoors and always had a smile for anyone. His loss will be greatly felt, farther than I am sure he could have ever imagined. He touched more people than he ever knew in his short life, but I am positive he can see it now looking down at us all. "We will miss you, our dear, funny "Weasel."(And before anyone bashes-that was his nickname among those of us who knew him the most.)

Now, on to the pettiness....I knew it wouldn't take long for someone to begin the lies. I am certain your emotions are all in knots right now, so I will just chalk it up to that, but just in case, I wanted to respond. As usual, someone who wouldn't dare say these things to someone's face but can hope on Topix and let their mouth overload their arse.
I am jealous of the finger-pointing people...to be SO PERFECT in your own life that you have time to stand and bad-mouth others....Wow...I am so busy taking care of my business, I don't have that kind of time
....but I'll take a few minutes here.

Butch started not to have the auction, but OUT OF RESPECT FOR STEVE, they all knew he would want them to carry on. Weasel NEVER was one who liked for others to make a fuss over him. Butch is absolutely beside himself. He thought alot of Weasel and often spoke of the respect he had for him. Weasel was like a member of the family.

Butch's employees have always known that he does not offer insurance, and Weasel worked a long time for Butch knowing this. He apparently didn't have a problem with it, why do you??

It was a horrible accident, no doubt, I am still trying to get my mind around it, but how respectful is it to not only take time out from consoling your family to POST on Topix, but to get the details WRONG to boot?? And why post, for strangers to see, what condition he was in(which you also got wrong)It is simply to add sensationalism to your story.(That means pumping up the details just to get a bigger reaction...exaggerating.)

Kinda hard to call a man's wife when you don't have immediate access to her number and don't know it by heart-Weasel was a very dependable employee, it wasn't like Butch had to call him alot to find out where he was.

He was not alone, he was always such a go-getter, he hustled out to get started doing the things he has done hundreds of thousands of times in the past. It was a freak accident, a horrible freak accident that the odds of happening again are almost nil.

AND, how respectful is it to not start a thread IN MEMORY of your bro-in-law, but TITLED "burrows"???

Butch and the rest of the Burrow family have been bashed long enough. It is odd to me that some people who are the loudest to SLANDER him one day are also the same ones who smile to his face with their hand out asking for a favor the next day....hmmmm. Good thing Butch doesn't have time to get on here and start posting THOSE names, huh?

It is easy to see that all this high school pi**ing and moaning over this family is apparently fueled by jealousy of what Butch has been able to obtain thru HARD work. I PROMISE you, he works more hours in ONE WEEK than a lot of folks work in a month.

Now, if anyone would love to discuss this with me in person, I'll be glad to buy you a cup of coffee the next time I am in town and talk face to face. Just let me know and I can post here when I know I'll be back in town.

RIP, Weasel....you will be greatly missed.

OK Ill be big about it and say im sorry maybe butch did do something right about this. But if all you guys wasnt there you dont know anything about what happened. My sister was not notified by any one from the auction and yes they have her #'s.
Steve was a great person and its terrible that this happened to him. Tonight at the auction something happened that steve would have been very proud of they payed him respect he was that place!
I have nothing more to say other than butch showed me wrong this time and I have more respect for him now than ever.
R.I.P. Steve I love ya man

I'm so glad to see that things are calming down. I know this is hard, and I feel terrible for Syble and his kids. And the moment of silence & prayer that they had for Steve tonight was very fitting. He would've been proud. Butch is taking this very hard, as anyone would in his position. But like someone mentioned earlier, "Weasel" was like a part of his family. Just like the collection that was taken up tonight...I'm sure whatever Butch can do to help, he will. He's just that kind of person. God Bless the Williams family.

Butch is a good man, I know this must be weighing on his heart. this is a terrible tragedy. but if you remember, butch also had the auction on the night of his mothers wake, see my point of veiw is with sorrow in his heart, he knows people come from all over and he is dedicated to the people who patron his establishment. no one will ever be able to change today but today has changed us forever. My prayers to Mrs. Williams and family, also to butch and Steve's co-workers. God Bless you all. pray God will get you through this tough time.

Sorry for the way I started out my comments. But I'm tired of the bashing of my family. Just like the rest, I let my emotions overload my mouth. Again...I apologize.
