Malden teacher faces child porn charges

May 17, 2006 A six-month investigation by Swampscott and State police resulted in the arrest yesterday of a Malden public school fifth-grade teacher on child pornography charges, Essex prosecutors said.

I am not surprised, I was a student of his about eleven years ago, and all I have to say is I am not surprised!

Bull is all I can say. The person recently commenting is a loser and obviously doesn't know what their talking about. If you actually knew this man you would never believe this accusation. He was a wonderful teacher to 3 of my children and encourage them to do well evey day and to stay in school and better themselves.

well I think a student themselves would know better than a parent no offense or anything. Maybe he never tried anything with your kids because the parents were involved. The person that commented before you has his/her own opinions, and its wrong for you or anyone to judge him/her. Most parents are clueless anyway, they want to believe what they want to believe. I read the story and he addmitted to looking at and downloading child porn. I will tell you this there is no way I would want my daughter to be his student, even if you think its okay for your children. I want better for mine!

I was a former student of his and it was a shock. He was always nice and all but I guess now we know why was so nice to the kids. Whether the accusations are true or not, I think that he shouldnt be allowed to teach and I dont know why they let a "recovering" alcoholic teach us anyway. Turns out he wasnt "recovering" since according to him he drank and looked at porn on sundays. WOW, what a teacher huh? Im just glad I got out of there before any of this haappened. I think the schools should be a a little, no a lot more carefull w/ who they hire because I had a substitute that was a recovering cocaine addictwhile I was in Forestdale School. In my opinion, its the school's fault for hiring these kinds of people that can have relapses at any moment.
