The Malden Police Chief recently had a letter read at the cops roll call that random patrol is frowned on.According to a reliable source this is to save fuel. The city pays signifigantly less for gas than the public because the city is tax exempt for these types of purchases. Are out tax dollars now not only not paying for trash pick up but we are now not going to have police protection? Start calling your city councilors.

save fuel ??...sure and write more tickets while they are at it! a huge problem with malden city government is the building department. they, along with code enforcement and the electrical dept are costing new homeowners thousands of dollars for home improvements done by the previous homeowners. without interior inspections and purely on speculation they are requireing home owners to redo work, without the inspectors even seeing it. it is litterally hundreds of homes and hundreds of court cases with no end in sight.if anyone knows a way to appeal this please let me know.

I hope no one ever tries to break into my house. By the time the officers walk to my house the burgler will time to sit down have a drink and watch a movie before they arrive. Good Riddens! I can't wait until the city gets rid of this bafoon!

I know that on Wed there was some sort of accident on eastern ave involving a security officer who rear ended a guy and began acting like he was a malden cop, screaming and swearing at the guy, telling him to pull the f--- over and show me your f------- license and registration. when I called the police to report what the security officer was doing, impersonating the malden police and intimidating the driver of the car who he hit from behind, all the malden police said was that there was a car on the way already. its obvious to me that the security officer was trying to take the blame of the accident away from himself and blame it on the person he rear ended, who happened to be a person of color. the police ignored what was reported about the security officer's behavior and the motive behind it.
