Chuuk was most certainly bombed during World War II. some of those bombs did see landfall but "Operation Hailstorm" mainly bombed ships in the lagoon and shot Japanese planes from the sky, all of which are now major tourist attractions for divers and a major source of worry for the environment due to leaking oil that could eventually decimate the lagoon.
Perhaps "Chuukese" was thinking of some other Chuuk?

The Japanese lost fifty ships and over four hundred planes at Chuuk. You can't change facts, you're not Obama.

BTW, there were twice as many Japs on the island as there were citizens, that's why we bombed the crap out of the place.

I believe it is the time to return the workers that like to drink, and couse trouble instead of work hard and try to send some money to suppport their family back home. And those who are truley working hard for their family need to look for other jobs anywhere in the us.this is USA, jobs everywhere, its just the matter of what you like to do.
