Today was sentencing. She received 4 months that she must serve every single day of in federal prison. She goes to prison June 3.

She got 8 years probation, has to pay restitution, has to have 16 random drug tests per year, has to go to drug rehab and has to serve 20 hours a week of community service for the 8 years of probation.

Her house is subject to search at anytime WITHOUT search warrant. If she does anything she'll go back to prison

That's a slap in the face to those of us whom she scammed.

To those who pursued this to the end.....thank you so much. Ya'll have my undying gratitude...I just couldn't stand the thought of seeing her again.

I agree, once a con always a con. At least now when she does screw up, she is being watched, and she will have some "splanin" to do and will go to the big house.

Imagine your name plastered across the AP wires on the day you are sentenced to FEDERAL prison. Those who were scammed, life goes on -- although not without the memories of what occurred and not without some scars.
However, Melissa will sit in that federal prison every single day of her sentence, and she will be FORCED to think of what she has done. No escaping it any more, not a chance. And further, she must think about all the things that WE are doing, that she does NOT currently have the freedom to be doing. That ought to be cause for pause, wouldn't ya think?

with "Imagine"'s comments. Even if it is 4 (whole) months, does anyone get how federal prison really feels? It ain't no hokey podunk county jail, folks.

Does anyone get that these felonious charges and the prison sentence will place a mark on her record which will follow her all the way to her miserable grave?

TEE HEE on that concept!
