As a child, my Dad taught me to respect these folks. Although we were poor and still did not need their help, many people in the area do. He always appreciated the fact that they help in contacting relatives in Europe after war II than the American Red Cross could not. So remember this when you give, they are here for all folks in need and the government is not involved. Thank God for that or stupidity would reign.

This church needs to stop begging for money all the time and ask it's members to support themselves. I get tired of them bothering people in front of stores. I don't give them anything anymore. They are so pesky. Go to your own church entrance and ring the darn bells.

It's a good cause. Will Target stores allow the Salvation Army kettles near thier stores? Thank you Stop & Shop for helping out.
