I am sure that all the families of the people she mentioned in this letter are happy to see their loved ones names and deaths brought up in the local paper. It is pretty pathetic when you drag people's painful memories into a public forum to make a rambling and insignificant point about a topic that most people really don't care about. You are worried about a door being open or closed. What you have written here is way worse than anything they could do in our little courthouse.
YOU HAVE GONE TOO

This is the sickest letter to most likely ever grace the pages of the Free Press. I am completely OUTRAGE Ms. Yeager that you would so graphically remind us of the sad deaths of certain prominent figures in the community.
In the past we have all put up with your ramblings in the paper and allowed you to freely express your opinion using your freedom of speech, BUT you have now gone WAY too far.
If you want to make a point make it, but DO NOT use unrelated tragic items to make this point. WHAT YOU HAVE DONE IS SICK!!! You are a very disturbed individual with whom I think would benefit from going and being with families who have experienced a true loss tragically. I CANNOT put into words exactly what it is that I want to express to you and what you have done.
I think it is safe to say that now the good people who read this publication are tired of you...this is so sad and sick I cannot get over it.
Damn you, and your poor way of making a point...

I, too, was offended not only by Ms. Yeager's lack of compassion for others but also the FPS's decision to print the letter in its entirety. Both Ms. Yeager and the FPS gave little thought to the feelings of others; I wonder how they would feel if their own families' tragedies had been exploited in someone's rantings in a public forum? The Bill of Rights 1st amendment is not an absolute right; judgment has to be used---- something that obviously was overlooked.
I can only hope that there were others beside myself who were so offended by the introduction of Ms. Yeager's diatribe that they didn't read the rest of the letter. That is what I did--- and I will never give the author of the letter another second of my reading time of the FPS. I also hope that the FPS rethinks its policies of printing everything it receives.

As usual Ms. Yeager, you have shown in a very literal sense that you can not carry you thought processes through. The end of your letter has absolutely nothing to do with the beginning of your letter. The tragedies that you speak of in the beginning are in no way connected to the metal detector at the courthouse. I truly see no purpose in placing these events in this letter. Are you implying that these three men's fates were something other than what they actually were? With each new letter you write, I am becoming more concerned for you own mental stability. Do us all a favor and proof read your epistles from now own and check for cohesiveness from beginning to end. Please think about what you have written and the effect it will have on those that have lost loved ones before you push that send button or post your letters to the editor.

This is the most bizarre writing I have ever read. The cases cited at the beginning were apparently placed there soley for shock value. After mentioning these tragedies and drawing readers in, we were rewarded with a lengthy rant with no association to the aforementioned individuals. What a sad example of the pain one would inflict to gain an audience for themselves. I agree that the Free Press needs to reevaluate its criteria for what it is willing to publish. Freedom of Speech does not defend this poison.

I have to agree with poop, this woman is CRAZY, she needs help. I truely believe after reading everything she puts in here she is a true mental case. I feel bad for her family that they have to acknowledge they are even related to her. There is no way I would admit to being a relative of hers.

Hey FPS-
When are you going to stop publishing this madwoman's letters? They are offensive and irrelevant. There is no rule that you have to publish every crackpot's letter.... Most newspapers have a word limit on letters. Perhaps you might consider that, as well...

Hey, Yeah, thanks for bringing Todd Casper back in to my memory, that really helps..

I'm not turning away from fear, I faced fear head on, spit in its face and punched it in the gut.

You, Miss, have no soul. You remind of the idiots at the westboro baptist church..You must live a sad sad life.

I would like to know if sherrif williams has his deputies checked to see if any more of them live in the WHATIF WORLD. that mentality got an innocent person tasered a few months back. how many laws have our elected officials violated while "protecting" us. Maybe its time to investigate the internal operation of our law inforcement departments before more whatifs occure.Does Mr williams see the world this way??? STOP THE FEAR MONGERING!!

This woman should be banned from this paper. The FPS should have not printed it that I agree. This woman is not all there and needs to leave her writing and rambling in the household she lives at. Yeager you have offended a great amount of people with this nonsense of words you claim to be a point about something or another. At this point you have lost us and I think you have lost it all together.

I was truly offended by the Yeager letter. It amazes me that the FPS would print such a piece of trash. The individuals mentioned in the beginning of the letter were good people with families and friends, and to have their tragic deaths used to make a point(?) about the Court House is unbelieveably cold and lacking in compassion. Ann Yeager, you should be ashamed of yourself and your tawdry exploitation.

I too agree with Carrollton Native and you should know that she truely is a mental case. I have known of situations involving this woman. Believe me her family no longer acknowledges her in their lives. Insane doesn't touch what she is.

ANNE...Id like to start this off by saying hi!! Im a human being. What are you? As an outsider, what do you think of the human race?.:-)

I agree 100% with the fellow citizen and carrollton natives' statements. This woman lacks all ability to function with any kind of order or realization to anything in the world around her. It goes without saying that this woman's mindset is completely warped in such a way that she makes a crazy person look normal. She shouldn't even be associated with the word crazy because it would be an insult to people that actually are.:-)

I am truly DISGUSTED!!!! If she had any sense of self-respect.....or respect for any other living person left in that empty head of hers, she would no longer write anything. Do yourself a favor Ms. Yeager and GET SOME HELP!!!

A preschooler could have written a better article. Thank god I wasn't near any sharp objects because I've never wanted to gouge my eyes more than after I read this crap.It sounded like she was on drugs when she wrote this... If I am mistaken, then perhaps she should consider seeing that she IS put on something. May I suggest some strong sedative ??... So I never have to read garbage like this again.

Why on earth would the editorial staff even publish this??? Everybody knows this woman is an absolute lunatic!!! She keeps her parents captive in The Home they raised her in! I know all of her siblings and needless to say there are not mental nutcases like she is!!! I think she should be banned from any other letters to the editor!!!! Why do all the Loony letters to the editor come from either Harlem or Malvern???? Please FPS staff ban her!!!!!

Everyone in Harlem Springs is not loony. Just because of one bad rotton apple in the community does not make the rest of Harlem bad.

Are there still gold fish in the cement well at the park in Harlem? Used to be good ice cream too. Maybe the ice cream has gone bad.
