Goodness your an angry person. If you feel you are paying to much in child support that is to bad. Your child support was set using both parents income and the laws are set by North Carolina and the same across the board. Do your part and pay as you should. If the person who has the child doesn't do their part there is not a thing you can do. Just keep doing what is right by your child because you cannot control another person.

Here are some steps you can take if you feel you are paying to much in support and can no longer afford to pay. This will cost you almost nothing and a trip to a child support office, courthouse or both. If you have lost your job (do to no fault of your own)or an order was put in place without you being properly served call your child support agent up and ask how to file a motion. File your motion with as much information as possible, appear in court and state your case to the judge. If you have been paying the same amount for 3 or more years call your child support agent up and request a review. You have options! Get over your anger an do something besides complain!

I have really been missing some good stuff. Wish I hadnt stopped by now cuz I'll be trying to get my big tale back in this computer chair. I would like some help with having to pay child support for children that doesn't belong to me. Why is is that a woman can say you fathered a child and know that you're not the father gets no punishment. I am a man that has to pay child support for children when I was in prison when they were conceived.
My ex-wife came to me when I was in prison because she wanted to get state assistance. Why is it that the woman is not punished. I have been trying to get these children off of me. Is there anyone who's in the same situation? Can anyone help me with this matter?

I think you need to get an attorney and ask him/her to file a motion to stop child support based on the fact that you were incarcerated when the children were conceived. If you cannot afford an attorney go to the local clerk of court office and ask how to file a motion to stop your support. When you go to court have all paperwork that shows you were incarcerated, a judge can calculate back to the date of conseption. All men need to wake up! When it comes to paying child support do not sign any paperwork (even if you beleive it is your child) until you have a paternity test.

Bait?! I would not do that to children, child support is about the child not the parents! Here are some things that many do not know and will not know unless they research.
1. Once an child support order is 3 years old the order can be reviewed. A review could cause the order to go down not up as many think.
2. One can get an idea of how much support they should pay by going to ncchildsupport, click on the parents flag, click on guidelines and fill in the worksheet.
3. At anytime a person paying child support can file a motion (even if the order is not 3 years old) if a significant change has taken place. Example out of work due to a lay off or an injury.
4.If the person has another child in their home and living with the childs mother put her income in also it will give more of a credit.(Cannot cout step children) Some think this will make them have to pay more but that is just not true. Puting their income in may drop your support a little.

the system is bent of getting child support out a man and if they can lock him way well good fine and dandy.... he can work some of it off in the penal system and help make the state some MORE money... dss and the sheriff dept don't care.. if you don't go and get you a lawyer and fight for your rights as a father your screwed.. and hey we fell asleep and let them pass crazy azz laws and those people by law have to act as enforcers... i can't begin to tell you the stupid, silly,, azz-a-nine..(lol) things women will do you dag men into court for that check.. and what gets me is the fools who sign the paternity papers down at dss and feel like they done some good in the world and ( she probably fucked him down there..lol) soon after an argument breaks out abd he slaps the got-damn hell outter her; but mind this now, she only wants to start an argument so a man can put his hands on her .. and hey sometimes you down even have to do that... then bam!!! you on her way to ( after she pick up some witness and file some papers on his azz and there he go in the pooky, broke, frustrated, record and a big frame around his head..... aint no got-damn good woman...... just pimps and hoes.. both can wear the same shoe tooo

it is you right to have a DNA TEST DONE,,,, go down to kenansville and sped some money and get you a good white women lawyer and let her fight for you...

Again, you must control yourself. If your ex has a restraining order I can see why. If she pisses you off that much walk away. I know that DSS and the Sheriff do NOT want people in jail for child support because there is to many real crimes out there. Face it some men and woman do not pay as they should so it is just a result of their own actions for non-payment. Pay your support and you have nothing to worry about.

thats why some men can't do nothing but hustle in the streets.... they can't get a job because they'll be paying out the azz in child support...
child support is a scourge .... like crack cocaine... in our communities...

I have gotten a lawyer but of course NC laws are stupid because of the time has passed.I have tried to get the mothers to get a DNA done out of my own pocket but of course they want give me one. It's like fighting a loosing battle. You know I have talked and highered a lawyer. I have also showed proof of my prison records but the judge still want relieve me of this order. I never signed any birth certificate first of all I was in jail so how in the hell could I sign anything. All I am asking is for some help does anyone know of anyone that can help me with this matter?crc4017@yahoo if you are in the same situation.
