Reality Check: The feds have been deporting illegals in higher numbers then in the past two years, however, their catch and release program has released more than they have deported. Do the research.

Failure to enforce deportations an affront to immigration legacy

In its annual report for 2008, the Department of Homeland Security revealed 558,000 fugitive aliens -- those who fled court or disobeyed orders to leave -- had avoided removal. Under the Obama administration, this number has grown. Some 715,000 people now reside in the U.S. that DHS refuses to deport. In one year, unenforced deportation orders have climbed 28 percent. And the numbers keep climbing.

it's not exactly what the feds refuse to do!! it is exactly that the feds were not given any authority to do anything about immigration!! the constitution gives the feds the mission of defending the borders of the country!! the constitution gives the states the authority to handle such matters as immigration of one sort or another as each specific state desires!! the constitution is specific!! you do not have to decipher the wording!! the fact that the years have muddled the works is the reason that we are in a mess!! today we have everyone running around trying to get this or that!! foolish move!! enforce the constitution and the whole problem is solved!!
