For all you Saturday Night Beer Drinking, Tattoo Parlor Rats, I'm tired of seeing you hypocrites on bended knee come Sunday Morning. STOP DOING THE WRONG THING IN FRONT OF YOUR CHILDREN!!!SET A GOOD EXAMPLE AND THINK ABOUT WHAT GOD IS GOING TO SAY ABOUT YOU AND YOUR LIFESTYLE. If you wouldn't do it in Church then stop doing it!!! Get your next tattoo in Church, drink beer in church, cuss and commit Adultery in Church, I don't think so, so stop doing it when you know it is wrong. How many times have you been Married? Is your ex still living? Look it up. What you have now is not Holy Marriage!! It's an abomination!!If you feel I stepped on your toes then GOOD!!Somebody needs to. If this applies to you then it was meant for you to see this and read it.

Ye without sin cast the first stone correct? Maybe you should live a Christian lifestyle before you tell others too. Funny how non religious people will call you on not knowing your facts...

Curios, you are exactly whom I am talking to. You need to get off your butt and set an example. Stop taking the easy road. Get your house in order before it's too late. PREACHERS need to bring the truth back into the Church. Step on some toes and get your members ready. God is real and he's coming!!!It's not an easy road but you can do it. Get off the stage if you can't bring it every Sunday. We will then find a new Preacher who can!

Although your motives are good Running people down because of the sins they are committing is not an effective way to convince them to live a Christ like lifestyle . Also just getting them to live a clean lifestyle and go to church won't keep them from an eternity in hell. It's all about a salvation relationship with Jesus. If you don't have it for real you don't have the desire to live a Godly life or know any better than to do these sins. Calling people names and degrading them is NOT what Jesus did . If you are a real Christian you should pray and ask God to show you how to be a better witness and how to share the love of God the way he intended it. You can't expect people to clean up there act before they come to church. Get them there , love them show them the way by example not condemnation .

Be careful everyone as you witness , preach or teach about Christ . Let the Holy Spirit work thru you and don't try to force conviction on people. Conviction is Gods job only.

Cowboy, I pray and I witness. Running people down was never my intentions. But, I won't ever candy coat the Bible..NOT EVER!! Acceptance of peoples sins isn't my job. I'm a teacher of truth not of just love and acceptance. Tomorrow morning I will be front and center of that alter and on bended knee I will pray for the sins of my brothers to be forgiven. The road to Heaven will be long and narrow. Can't be straddling the fence on this. It's black or white, right or wrong. Teach that to your kids and family. No reading between the lines.

You and I probably agree on most things that matter from a Christian point of view. What got my attention about your comments in the first post is that you resorted to name calling (quote ) tattoo parlor rats. That type of calling people out is not effective at leading them to Christ . You can't give me any piece of scripture or teaching in the bible that backs up that kinda haughty self righteous attitude. Keep that talk up and the lost people who are looking for the way to Christ will likely run the other way . I'm not straddling any fences here . Sin is sin and wrong is always wrong . Good works and deeds nice suits and ties won't get you to heaven the same as them tattoos won't keep you out . Its all about a relationship with a risen Savior . Only the blood of Jesus and the forgiveness God can offer will save anybody . I have seen some rough looking tattooed beer drinkers come to Christ and turn out to be the most humble Christ centered people around. Just be careful to choose your words a little better. Remember when they came after Jesus Peter cut off the soldiers ear due to good intentions but it was the wrong thing to do. I know a few of our local churches preach like that pretty regular and (stepping on toes ) is a popular statement to make but keep in mind if you do the stomping it won't amount to much. Let God and his Holy Spirit do the toe stomping. Be blessed my brother.

To anyone reading these posts who has sin in there life , tattoes, drinks excessively , uses drugs , is an adulterer , a thief , a murderer etc.......if you need help And you want a better life here and the promise of eternity in heaven , There is hope . His name is Jesus . He is waiting for you to come to him with all the garbage and problems in your life. The bible says to all those who come to him he is faithful and just to forgive them of there sins . God loves us all the same although he hates our sins. Sin is what separates us from God and the only way to have fellowship with him and have a blessed life is to give our hearts to him thru salvation . Don't think for a minute that you aren't good enough for God . Bible says we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. God sees all sin as the same and there is nothing that he won't forgive. Find a church here in this community that has a bunch of loving people that aren't wrapped up in suits and ties and driving Cadillacs . Go where true believers worship and get your life on track with God before its to late.

Need church references ? Just ask

Please let us know what church you go to cause I definitely don't wanna go there. God says you should not pass judgement on others. If thats the way you feel that you need to minister to others then I am afraid Hell may await you also!! Because you sound like one of those people who keep others out of church. You think you are better than others and commit no sins. In gods eyes a sin is a sin. Whether you tell a lie or murder someone its the same sin.

Okay, let's get it right. Thou shall not judge falsely. Not that we should not judge. I'm saying hell is waiting for all of us if we don't stop knowingly sinning. If your going to keep making the wrong decisions and going to keep on committing the same sins and know it's wrong then you will know God's wrath. NOT mine. If you have sinned knowingly then I hope you will repent. Please get into a good Church. God's house is always your house. NOT MINE. I'm no better than anyone else, I am just tired of seeing the Church teach the youth that acceptance is more important the truth. That's all for now. God Bless all who are reading this and understanding I pray for forgiveness of my sins everyday. Live right, not easy.

Oh please people. I've seen a priest with tattoo's before & there is nothing wrong with having a beer. Get off your high horse. I have tattoos, I drink some, & I am a good Christian. I have only been married once & yes he was married before. His wife cheate don his & divorced him so in your eyes he should have never married again because she wanted out? That makes no sense. Keep judging others. You're the one who will end up in hell, not everyone else.

Well, I am just going to put my two cents in here. First of all - I think it is great that you are "religious" and follow the Bible. There are great parables, teachings & stories that should be taken to heart - but if you think that doing or NOT doing certain "things" as that man-made book tells you -- then you are very sad & ignorant. There are several religions all over the world that call our higher being "God", but there are also some that call it "Buddah" or "Jehovah" or just "a higher being or entity"... Don't throw around a couple of verses and act like you are a theologist. Anyone can have a relationship with God. I don't think it makes you any more or less of good person if you drink on Saturday night. Lessons can be taught from that -- ALL IN MODERATIOn. Just because someone drinks around their children, doesn't make them a bad person... Why did Jesus turn water into wine in the Bible and not turn it into Kool-aid?? Or Juice? You are so small-town-minded, I feel really sorry for you. BUT, its also a good thing to be so niaive & to think that path is the best path and the "only" way to Heaven. That shows you are probably a very good person with good intentions. But don't judge a book by its cover. My father never missed a Sunday of Church his entire life, even though he did make mistakes. That is what Church is for -- FoRgIvEnEsS!!! At least that is what the Bible tells us... Myself, I don't feel I have to go to a Church & listen to a man preach. I have my own moments of meditation & prayer to God. He knows my heart & leads me through. And even though I may falter at times -- like WE ALL DO - because we ALL SIN -- I know deep down I am a good soul. I don't need your approval to know that.

Hey dude please don't get mad and take that the wrong way. What I'm saying is that many of the things that churches frown on like tattooes , drinking or whatever can NEVER be anything that keeps us from a relationship with Jesus Christ. I don't care if you have them from your scalp to your pinky toe!!! It's not a big deal . I don't want this topic to become something it didn't start out to be . The one who started this topic metioned the tatooes first and would lead people to believe that you gotta get rid of all these habits and sins in orde to be right with God . But good works only won't save you from an eternity in hell. Only those who with there whole heart admit they are sinners, ask God to forgive them of those sins and commit to following him with all they have are gonna spend eternity in Heaven . It's not my opinion , it's the word of God.

There are gonna be a lot of people in heaven that wouldn't be accepted in most churches in this county.

Please get this from my comments if you don't get anything else.........God loves you and wants you to come as you are. If you give your heart to him for real and are saved he will let you know thru his Holy Spirit what changes you need to make in your life .
Be blessed

You might be a good person but that isn't going to get it. Good luck with your lost soul. You can spell and write properly but that's about all the good this is worth. God will make final judgment on you, not me or anyone else. Good luck with the "I'm a good soul" excuse with God.

And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch? The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother’s eye. Luke 6:39 to 42 (KJV)

The words come from the LORD, not me. All of us need to be reminded of this from time to time.

Well, looks like we can agree to disagree then, prophet perfect... I will take that with a grain of salt. And I will thank God I have the abilities and knowledge I was given & not what you were... Good Luck & I'll see ya at the pearly gates.
