I'm worried about someone shooting another person(a young woman not weighing 90pounds) and claiming self defense or something? it appears that no one has been arrested?

That would be a great question answered - what is the status on this case and it seems strange how pushed under the rug this has been

The case will be presented to the grand jury. This is usually the way a case like this is handled. Whether there is an arrest or not, it has to go before the grand jury for them to determine if there is enough evidence to hold over for a trial in circuit court. Another factor in why there was no arrest as of yet, is Kentucky's new self defense law. Either way it has to go before a grand jury. Hopefully the truth will come out as to the events of that tragic evening.

I understand that the police is protecting this man due to threats of someone else killing him. Any truth to that at all?

It still amazes me that ~ The story has just stopped I have heard no follow up and I have friends and family in G-Burg and I had heard more of the story than they did because I received my info from the web. Sad this was a person who lost her life and nothing has been sad or done - very sad

What is going on with whatever his name is? You know the man that murdered her? I hope and pray that they have him locked up somewhere. I'm in the same situation as you, I have family and friends in G-burg, but it seems that know one knows anything.

before blaming somebody for something, we should find out enough about the case. We obviously do not know enough about it-maybe she was armed, maybe she assaulted him, maybe he isinjured too, maybe she was very violent. none of you seem u seem to know at this stage (neither do I) , so it is too early to say that he is guilty or not.

I agree that no one seems to have enough information on this story. But considering that someone has been killed, don't you think that in itself is unusual. I knew Sabrina. Her death is a loss to anyone who did know her. She was a very loving, nuturing mother. Now her VERY YOUNG children will grow up with very little to no memory of her. I have witnessed with my own eyes how lost they are without her. Please everyone continue to keep them and her husband in your prayers. They deserve closure to this.

Polish- I totally agree with you just from what I have heard (Please forgive me for my own gosssip), I believe he wanted to shut her up. I do not know the man involved. I don't care to know him. Yes, I have formed my opinion NOT knowing all the facts. However, I see her children.....the pain in their eyes is all the truth I need. I just believe that this COULD have ended very differently. No, I don't have the answers. It just hurts to see those babies without their mother.

Question...Why was a married woman with children in a situation of this kind? apparently the man that shot her was not her husband from the comments here, If my reading is correct.

It's my understanding that she was confronting a man who had abused her when she was a child.
That man is who shot her.

She should have left sleeping dogs lie. I was s*xually abused at 3 years old. I have never forgotten it, and yes I hated the person for a very long time.It was very hard not to be outraged with him. But in the long run, it's not worth it. I have overcome that now as an adult. The person died several years ago with lung cancer and I'm sure he is paying for what he did. She should have left it alone and realized that one day he would pay for it with God. But she didn't and so she lost her life, and he is out running free. It is a sad situation. I feel for her family and children.
