Sucks. Overpriced, salad bar is cramped and should have been left in the middle where it was. That gigantic table they have looks stupid.
Disappointed.

I ate there the week it opened. Wasn't impressed at all. Food tasted like there was no seasoning. I also agree that the huge table in the middle looks dumb.

Not at all what it should or could be. Not a true Western Sizzlin without that food bar. Was very disappointed.

Ate there about a month ago. Food was okay but not good enough to go back. While I was there a gentleman came in, was seated, but when it comes time to order...he left. He told the waitress he thought all Western Sizzlins had buffet, he was in a hurry, and didn’t have time to wait on an order. I don’t think they will last long if they continue to not have the buffet. Very disappointed! This town needs better options for eating, clothes shopping, and grocery shopping! Things are overpriced in this town and there is not enough variety! Until we have variety and lower taxes…ppl will continue to shop elsewhere. I buy my gas, groceries, and a lot of my clothes from Spring Hill Wal-Mart. Soooo much cheaper and it’s only 11 miles from my house where as Magnolia is 13 miles. Why would I drive further to spend more in this lousy economy?!?!?

I have eaten there twice. I ate chicken fried steak the first time and a ribeye steak the 2nd time. I have eaten way better chicken fried steak elsewhere in town!( marlars) the ribeye was only ok as the rails has a better one! The staff and waitresses were very nice and above average when it came to service. I too miss the Buffett but the salad bar the have now was tasty and with a steak it is all you can eat. So out of a 100 I would give it a 60.

We enjoyed it and were happy that is was NOT a buffet! People eat to much on those things, and also waste a LOT of food and cost the restaurant money which makes the prices go up for everyone. Our food was good. We did have TOO many people checking on our table every 5 minutes and couldn't have a decent conversation without being interrupted constantly.(Maybe because it was new and everyone was overly eager to be helpful) Glad they are back in Magnolia and not just an empty building any longer. We will continue to support them.

Their prices are higher now and they dont have the buffet. Theyre going to lose business because of that. People like choices.

While Magnolia is at a loss for good restaurants, the whiners and bitchers still make their way to Topix. If you didn't like it, just shut up about it and let others find out for themselves. Good gosh, some of you try to kill businesses before they even get going. Some dumbass on here will undoubtedly post that the dog food at Epinette's doesn't taste as good as Atwoods.

I go to Springhill also. The people(employees and customers both) are a lot friendlier and nice. I hate going to the Walmart in Magnolia. But I really don't like anything much about Magnolia. Most unfriendly people in the world. I know that one of these days I will hear about someone in Magnolia drowning during a rain because their nose was so far up in the air.

No food bar. Salad bar is a misplaced joke. Food is fair at best.

My husband and I were going to eat there this past Sat. We were seated quickly however our server wasn't very familiar with the menu from the start. We ordered cheese sticks for an appetizer and were shocked when were were told that they don't carry marinara sauce and ranch was the only sauce available. This was something we could deal with so then we decided to order fish and ask could we sub for a baked potato instead of fries and would pay the additional charge (if any). That's when were were told that they do not sub foods and "it is what it is". We politely got up and walked out and WILL NOT be back.

Their prices will be higher when they come back however many years later. It's called inflation.

Finally ate there.

Needs some help. It CAN be a good restaurant with better management.

My sirloin was decent. Wife's chicken average at best. I liked the salad bar. Not as big as it used to be, but biggest one in town and everything was fresh and tasty. Server could have came by a few more times, but it was really busy.

Now, I did see other people really upset with their food and service. They need a better manager. Isn't that woman that is up there the one that got fired from BB?
