First of all, this is not even about Obama. This is about Magnolia. Second do you even have proof that he is racist. Or are you one of those who think he's Muslim, that attended a Christian church? Are you one of those people who think he is not an American either? And for the name calling, Get Real, you don't even know me just like I don't know you, so you don't know what I do, or don't know. As far as debates, I debate almost everyday. I don't have to tell people how bad I will beat them, I let my debating do the work for me. But you are debate in the wrong way, the point of debate is not to simply argue; rather, the point of debate is to try sway the other side to see one's point of view or a person who is undecided to see one's point of view. Again, this is not about Obama, this is only about Magnolia.

I guess you completely ignored my comment about Professor Gates. Remember "The Beer Summit"? He made a statement at a press conference of all places accusing the white cops of being racist. The facts showed something far different.

Have I said he is a Muslim? Have I said he's not a legitimate American? As far as his church, it may be Christian in name, but I've never sat in a Christian church and heard the kind of anti-American, white-hate that spewed out of Obama's pastors mouth for TWENTY YEARS.

Now far be it from me to tangle with a "master debator" such as yourself, but you just spewed BS without backing it up with facts, not to mention you threw out unfounded innuendo to attempt to discredit me. I hope your debating skills are far better when you debate "all day long".

Back to Magnolia. A civic center would be a foolish idea with the facilities we have.

Schools, jobs, crime, cleanliness. That's what we need.

Again Get Real, I could debate you on Obama but that would do no good to do such a thing as it would be a waste of my and your time. I could careless of your thoughts on Obama. We could get into racism in America if you want, but I choose not to live in the past but rather bring Americans together.

While I do agree with you that education not just schools, crime, jobs, and beautification are important. The facilities we currently have are heavily used by the ones who own the facilities. A civic center should not be the first on the priority list but should be a thought. But facilities for dance, meeting, and sports are not the only thing the civic center would have. I think it would be a great way for the city to make money if the city does it in an educated way.

sir, i have read enough of your posts to honestly say that you would be wasting your time running for mayor of this town. if you really want to help this town, spending our tax money on bull sh!t like a civics center will not do it and every registered voter knows that. worrying about the "brown" triangle is a complete and total waste of your time and ours too.

the main problem in this town are the thug gangsters. get rid of them and the problems will all fix themselves. corperations will not build here because of the schools. whats wrong with the schools? thugs. they are taking over this town. untill you can see that you just need to stay out of local goverment and we need someone who will come in here and clean this town up from the trash that walks the streets. the new mayor should either make the police cheif step up or step out and get one that will. even tho the new jail is larger than the old one, it wont be big enough for all the ppl that need to be in there. so id hate to see us spend money on a civics center when a bigger jail is what we will need if the right person takes over this town. you need to get your priorities right before you run for mayor. why dont you run for mayor in mcneil or waldo and build your civics center there so those towns will prosper and maybe they will grow so much that they can get thier school district back and all the animals will get out of magnolias schools.

getting people out of the school sir, is the worst thing anyone can do. The question about the civic center and the golden triangle was just a question, nothing about priorities. As I have stated in past posts I have stated priorities ahead of the civic center. I will repost them here for anyone to see

1. Declare war on crime (stricter enforcement of curfew laws, and target suspicious activities, have a stronger police force presences in high crime areas)
2. Tear down all dilapidated housing
3. Work with the schools, churches, and other non profits to create after school programs and other after school educational programs to get more students to universities, colleges, or trade schools.
4. Work on economic problems of Magnolia
5. Beautification
6. Create entertainment for families and college students
7. Help create more small business in Magnolia that are mostly owned by Magnolians
8. With the cleared lands and from removing eye soars, I would search for federal funds, work with residential developers to help rebuild neighborhoods(this will help create a tax base in poorer areas of Magnolia)(this well be inspected randomly by the city)
9. Reduce Crime and Poverty in Magnolia.
10. Create a landlord and tenets bill of rights
11. Try to get the state of Arkansas to get funds for SAU to have a research and development college and possibly a medical and dental school
12. Set up 10 AmeriCorps programs to help with education, crime, poverty, business, parks, etc.
Then after all of that
I would seek to create a civic center or convention center.(my first goal is to have it privately owned and form a partnership.

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Scorpio

If you haven't seen certain people during the past few days, how about inviting them over for a drink or a meal? You're feeling sociable and will enjoy doing some light entertaining although you'll draw the line at anything too strenuous. It's a lovely day for being in familiar surroundings with some familiar faces, even if all you do is flop on the sofa.
