Was wondering about the prices of the ones around Magnolia, which ones are known for having lice &/or always having sick kids or just flat out places you don't leave your kid, places that take good care of your kid while watching them -ya know, the usual concerns & questions.

Kiddie Korral had a kid wander off about two months ago. Someone said he was 4 or 5 and Hispanic. They say he was found near the boys club near the bypass. just do your research.

That's not far from my house! Wow. I think I'll just stay as a stay at home mom for now. Save myself a good 600 a month & spend time with my baby!

I don't blame you. Heck, I'm tempted to start watching like 2-3 kids a week for 100/wk. I'd never be late for work & I'd still get to spend everyday with my baby!

Huh? Education. It's free in public schools for the first 13 years. Get in line.

this came straight from Alberto's father. That's the child who wandered off. If u want to believe the teachers, go ahead. There is surveillance on property, check that too. The owner lied to me when I asked her about it. The dad and police told me the truth. Believe what you want. My kid doesn't go there anymore.

I agree...WOW...most jobs around here for women barely even make that much a week! I'm sure glad my kids are grown, that is very expensive child care! Seems like it being a church, it would be more affordable...guess not, though!!!

I don't blame you! If my kids were still small, at that price...it'd pay to stay home and be with your child and have a couple of other children for your child to play with. Have you tried to ask around from people you know well if they know of anyone who would like to babysit for extra income who would be a good sitter? When my son had children who were young enough for a sitter, that is how they found all of their sitters. They were lucky enough to find an elderly couple who treated their child like it was a family member. In fact, despite living hundreds of miles away now...they still take their kids to visit the couple as if they were family...the kids are in their late teens now! Good luck in whatever you decide to do.

well whatever yall do, do not take your kids to All Gods Children. the staff are horriable to the children. i know first hand because i am a parent and went in to pick my kid up early one day and the staff were sittin around on phones and the children were a mess. and they talk very rudely to the children as well.

I have my little boy in the methodist day care, i have made surprise visits and everything seemed ok, my little boy is in sheryl tomkins class, she is wonderful with kids but we are really just getting by til august to go to columbia christian. I would say that every day care probably has a person in it that someone has a problem with but that is in all walks of life. It does seem like at methodist the director is not in control but she is a good person we have known her for a long time.
