I grew up in Magnolia and left there 25 years ago. I still have close family there and visit there often. The town has changed, but what small town in the South hasn't.
Sometimes crimes goes unsolved! That's a reality everywhere also. My parents have lived on the same street for more almost fifty years. The neighborhood has changed, so what. A town is what all the citizens make of it, not just the few. There is a thriving college there, lots of new businesses and plenty of happiness to go around for all who are looking for it. If you don't like it, lucky you! There are highways leaving in all directions and several U-Haul rental places in town. Pack up! If you need boxes, just put up a post, plenty of us old Panthers will bring a load of them to your house if you want to post your address. |

Some people don't like what Magnolia has become, some people are indifferent. I think Magnolia has a stronger basics going for itself than many other towns in Arkansas. Its about improving on the basic structure. I think if we can all come together and focus on solving problems rather than just complaining about them, we'd have a much more stronger and more unified Magnolia.
