I bet there is a connection between victims and home invaders, only an idiot would home invade with just a bat not knowing is they will get shot? They knew there were no guns in the house and the fact they came back I think shows they knew the people in the home did'nt grab a gun when they left the first time

I live a couple of streets away from there and on Monday night around 8:30 I heard someone try my doorknob twice. My dog started barking, but when I looked out the window I didn't see anything like a car or flashlight and my porch light was on. I do keep a shotgun by my bed just in case!

There are some fine fishing holes around Magalia. I wonder if any of these fellows fish the lakes and streams in this area. Just sayin.

WRONG!!!!! To prevent accidental discharge, the finger should be beside the trigger, not on it.

I wish people would stop doing this type of thing. They need to take that behavior down the hill where it's welcome.

I keep a .44 next to the be. C,mon and break into my house in the middle of the night and see what happens to you. By the way, afterwards I won't call the police. Out here in the country, we just cut 'em up and feed them to our hogs!

Wasn't it three guys that murdered Eric Jones? I wonder if it's the same guys.

Okay, so one of the victims escaped from the house. Did he or she call 9-1-1? Apparently not, as the intruders came BACK and did it again. What's wrong with this picture?

cuz i sure do, sounds like once again there is more to the story than being reported... i can smell the marijuana or (insert drug of choice) from here. "several items were taken..." like what? maybe if we knew what all these robbers were after we could figure out if we are a target or not and better protect ourselves... oh yeah i forgot they're after drugs, sounds like all of us law abiding citizens will be ok

Not if you have to run to the nightstand to get the gun. You better be wearing on your hip 24/7 and able to get it into action in a split second. Not paranoid. Just the reality of how fast forced home invasions go down.
