They should contract with Paradise Police, than there would be 24/7 coverage.
ABSOLUTELY!! Did everyone think the Paradise police would just say.."Sorry, it's out of our jurisdiction."? Response would be ASAP !!

Guns are not always the answer. There should be stricter home invasion laws in every state. People should be more careful nowadays.Home invasions are happening everywhere. Protect your home and family, keep alarms activated. If you do not have a home security system, try homesecurityalarms.net for a free 15 entry home security system. Install deadbolts, keep cell phone charged and nearby.

What are the Clampers about, and how are they different from the BCG? Sincerely want to know.

I totally agree with you, my sister and brother in law had a home invasion and the perps held guns on them while they tied them up, came in at 3am, they will never be the same, their whole lifestyle has changed not to mention thinking everyone who looks at you is the "ONE". We recently had a robbery here, no way to replace what they took, it was a couple hundred over what our deductible was so if we claim it, our insurance goes up, if we dont, we are out of what they stole (hunting equiptment, no guns)even if we did claim it, they would only pay a small portion of what they were worth and as far as I am concerned, if you are out there on MY property doing something you shouldnt be then I have a RIGHT to protect my family and property and Im a good shot! We do have protection but this was an isolated incident and they snuck in the back of the garage that isnt connected and also a ways from the house. If someone doesnt take these ****, weapon toting thugs out someone else is going to get the same thing if not worse. CATCH THEM AND GIVE THEM TO THE CLAMPERS!!!

The 3 "bad guys" are fortunate they chose their victims home instead of mine. If they forced their way inside my home at 2AM, there would be 3 bodies on the floor for the Coroner to pick up.

Do you REALLY think stricter home invasion laws would really deter these boneheads? Really? Whether you believe it or not, being ready and able to defend yourself is often the difference between being a victim or not, life or death.

I agree with this statement.

The article left more questions than answers. Why did the people not call the police when the bad people left the first time? The bad people felt comfortable to come back and do some more damage because?????
Something is not right with this situation or the story of this incident. Just sayin.

Even still, dopers don't deserve to have someone invade their home.

This is the reason I hate the ban on "large capacity" magazines. Home invasions often have 3 or more people coming in. You need to be able to spread a lot of lead around. Going dry in a situation like this would be bad news. Does anybody really think somebody doing this sort of activity would abide by magazine restrictions defined by law? No, it's only a feel-good measure that puts law-abiding people at a disadvantage. Politicians are truly ignorant people.

With Glocks, the so called "large cap" mags, 13-17 rounders, are really standard magazines. That's the way they ship from the manufacturers. The 10-round mags required by Kalifornia law are actually low-capacity, neutered down magazines. The large cap mags are 33 rounders.

Paradise PD has never said sorry to the guy who got his arm broken or the guy who fell out of the cop car around the corner from the jail, and the woman who got shot in the cemetary. Paradise police are one of the most violent gangs on the ridge.I recall years ago ,they were implicated in doing there own home envations.
