I'm surprised no one has said anything about the epidemic of overly SLOW drivers in this town who are just as dangerous as the fast ones...its gotten pretty ridiculous trying to get anywhere...I think there should be more done about them too.
Everyone should slow down and enjoy the ride. There are too many speeders mowing over the deer. We are in the mountains.. the deer have to cross our streets and anyone who knows of a deer crossing (they tend to use the same crossing over and over) thats not posted with a deer crossing sign should contact Town of Paradise. They will go out there and put up a sign. Thank you.

Everyone knows this is a retirement town where elderly live. If you don't like the way people drive here, move elsewhere. I guess these old people can't have been too bad a driver or they wouldn't be old, now would they? I laugh daily about those who speak of the elderly, do they not know that they are going to approach the same age. Are they going to have the same outlook? No, Then they will be griping about the young. And the circle goes round & round.

I hate old people. I hate the way they drive. I hate the way they think I hate everything about them. I'm generalizing a bit..

piss on the deer ... if Kalifornia had sensible hunting regulations, they'd be thinned out, to a decent population ... deer are only overgrown RATS, anyway, that destroy cars, costing us un-necessary money ...

I've never been known as selfish & I am certainly not an old coot, yet, but I have grandparents that I love & respect very much & I hear from them that they know they will eventually have to quit driving. They have enough to worry about now days. Have some sympathy. As I said we all will reach that age, then a lot of the resentment towards the elderly will be directed towards us. I feel shame for those who would make the statement they hate old people even if they are generalizing. Why even say it?

But they are so cute.. esp. the babies. I have a family that trots through my yard.. a mom and two babies.. I also had my car hit by two deer that ran out as I was driving and crunched the side of my car.. very scary but I still like them. I drive more careful now and SLOWER.
Have a good day.

regardless, if he's a dirtbag or not, it COULD also have been someone more innocent, that was illegally 'left-turned'... I'm only in my 50's, but I definitely don't have the reflexes I did, just a few years ago, and NO OLD PERSON does, either !... there should be mandatory loss of driver's licenses, at age 70, NO exceptions
You really have to be kidding here? Lose of license at 70? And oh...glad that you are only in your 50's. You must also be male by your comments.

Geezer will definetly change his mind when he is 70. It is very brave to make all these statements in your 50's, but you will sing a different tune when you are 70. There are still excellent drivers driving at this age. In fact, most people in their 70's are more in tune to driving defensively than the younger are. So Geezer we certainly hope you quit driving when you are 70. But, I bet you don't & will howl plenty if it is suggested.
