Some here may have noticed my absence from this forum over the last few months. I have, of course, been busy with other things, but the main reason I eased out of the forum is that it had gone stale for me because the local news had also gone stale. Business as usual, politics as usual, corruption as usual, crime as usual... I was getting as jaded as Solomon and wondering whether there was anything new under the sun or at least uncommon enough to stimulate a few ideas.

This story has enough quirky details to get my attention. An outdated and possibly corrupt Grand Jury system; a right-wing wacko who goes to extremes opposing it; a lawyer who tries to extract himself before it's too late only to find that it already is. Hopefully this will be a shot in the arm for a few other writers and we can have some fun exploring the issues and ferreting out the details.

Let's have at it, gang!

I'll comment since Ive studied this before.

Here is a listing of Stephen Pidgeon items compiled by some lesbian who uses him as an example to ridicule. I actually agree with most of what he says in the quote list, except in true Patriotard fashion, he blames the machine instead of who operates the machine.

http://www.pamshouseblend.com/diary/11092/bat...

Here are some audio files. It is a bit difficult to find audio files of him. I'll list them below, I haven't listened to them yet.
http://tinyurl.com/2wfyoah

Basically, the guy is a fundamentalist christian attorney who believes that we live in the system as advertised by that system, "we are free.. we have checks and balances.. we are a constitutional republic, etc"

These are the "Patriotards", and my experience is that it is an endless quagmire, but it is worth looking into if for nothing else than to discover 1/10th of the BS we actually live in.

The problem is that these people think you can force the dictatorship that we actually live in to play by the original rule of us law, without using physical deadly force. They do not realize that constitutional law doesn't apply in our courts, and if they do realize it, for some reason they seem to believe that they can somehow pull some legal trigger to force the enemy back into that arena.

These are people for whom the realization that "America" is only an advertisement for something which actually doesn't exist is a bridge too far. They simply cannot accept that their country, isn't theirs, that their patriotism has been completely in vain - although everything they encounter tells any less heavily emotionally invested observer, just that. None of this means however that they aren't correct (if they actually lived in the world and the system they believe they live in).

Most of them are hardcore judeo-christians too.(Basically, racial supremacists without the presence of mind to at least make their own race the supreme one). Its too bad they don't just start over and read the NT for themselves. Thats the main reason they cannot move from what should be correct, to what actually is correct. When confronted by the judeo-facts, they retreat to "the system" because those facts directly contradict their erroneous judeo-christian belief set.

" Records show Huff had said that he and others planned to take over the courthouse in Madisonville and arrest "domestic enemies of the United States engaged in treason.""

As with so many other arrests like this, we don't really know if the "records" are legitimate, or if they actually constitute anything at all. Usually they don't. This is an example of what I mean by "playing by the rules". The dictatorship never has, and never will.

These people mean well, but they just cannot get past that "GD piece of paper" that George Bush described. The fact of the matter is that it IS just a GD piece of paper.

I'll leave the topic alone now since the local TARDS we know and love are sure to arrive and paste the usual easy-bake wind.

Its good seeing you again NS.

LOL,
Serf, until you swim in the pool of S.E.TN.good ol boy government,do not claim who is nuts, and who is "right wing wacko".
South east Tennessee has had years of isolation.
Such isolation corrupted governments,sheriffs offices,
and some of the general public.

Veterans have went against the corruption down there before(Battle of Athens). The isolation is gone now.

Expressing irrational opinions of one sort or another may be the mark of an ornery, cantankerous crackpot, but gathering a band of armed people to barge into a close grand jury session for the purpose of "arresting" the foreman just because no term limits have kept him from serving beyond a reasonable time moves a man solidly into wacko territory. A few points of agreement don't change the fact that Fitzpatrick's behavior is that of a seriously delusional individual.

Obama is a traitor. When Fitzpatrick tried to exercise his rights to petition the government for redress of grievances,he was obstructed by a corrupt system.

When the proper authorities look the other way, acitizen can make a "citizen's arrest".

Obama is not my choice for President but Obama is not the problem he is merely a symptom of the disease.

The real problem is the mechanism that's in place to get someone like Obama elected as President.

Your claims are so childish, ignorant, and just plain ridiculous, I don't even know where to begin refuting them. I mean, come on... how can I "reason" with someone who is so willfully ignorant that they borderline on delusional?

Ok... I'll start with this. Can you give some concrete examples of how President Obama has committed "treason" as you call it? Treason is a serious offense that is recognizable and would be punishable by the justice system if it were true.

I figure itís more likely that you are just a FOX News watching idiot though who can only regurgitate "talking points" (which are false) that he has heard other people say.

Obama is far from the worst man to ever be in the White House and is no more of a traitor than 90% of Washington is.
You speak for "all"? Obama IS a fake who happens to be Mulatto. Race carries no immunity from prosecution for treason and fraud.
Me,fearful of Blacks? No. Is there some reason that I should be?

Judges have always been allowed to throw out cases that have no legal standing and amount to frivolous litigation.

As for your "proof" of your claims... well, let's just say that home-brewed youtube videos (that are really no better than a blog that someone has written) are not "proof."

Also, you say that you are sane. Well, you may be functional, but you clearly have issues. Anyone that fixates on imagined problems or conspiracy theories has some "issues" is all I am saying.

Your case is about as valid as me claiming that President George W. Bush committed treason by starting a war that sacrificed the lives of US soldiers so that the defense industries and companies like Halliburton could profit, a war for corporate gain if you will.

But see that would be kind of irrational. At some point, you just have to accept that the political party you backed didn't win, and that there is no "great conspiracy," just a different set of a-holes in Washington, that you like much less the other set of a-holes in Washington. Look on the bright side, there will be another election in 2 years, and at worst President Obama can't serve more than six more years. Both ways, he will be gone and you can take off your tin-foil hat and relax. I mean come on... even if it's six more years, could it be worse than the last eight under President Bush? I fail to see how.
