I can't argue the verdict, but would you hire him to watch your grandkids? Or be his neighbor?
You need not be so frightened, just because you walk around "unarmed". Just don't go jumping up in anybody's face screaming, and especially keep your hands off of them.

Oh yeah. And get saved so death can't hurt you anyway

Yeah, just like your stapler tossing friend. Too bad he didn't have office equipment available instead of a pistol. A man would be alive and two families not devastated. Justice is served.
There is a connection between the case of staple man Angelo and gun toting Whitton.

In both cases the inept Loudon County justice system sprung into action. Despite botching both investigations and no evidence or witnesses DA Russell Johnson went ahead with prosecution, putting forth his most able prosecutor..

Predictably, the state lost both cases.

The DA around here can prosecute up a storm against meth addicts and child molesters who can't afford an attorney, but they can't figure out how to prosecute anybody who puts up a fight or hiires a decent lawyer. Justice is for sale in Loudon County.

Sorry, don't take advice from anyone deluded enough to think they have "saved" themselves.

He probably figured, correctly, that you do not need to provide any justification for exercising your rights
Or---maybe the guy is a hot head and thinks everyone is out to get him!
