I saw the story on the evening news and i read about it in the Messenger. From what i understand this bully was constantly harassing and picking on a younger student who he thought was his "victim". The bully was 17 years old and his "victim" was 16 years old. Well the 16 year old student got tired of it and decided to beat the living dog shit out of the 17 year old bully.

I whipped a lot of asses in my day and ive also had my ass whipped a few times...so i definitely know what a ass whipping is when i see one. I personally dont know who that boy is but ill tell you one thing...THAT BOY CAN FLAT OUT GIVE A ASS WHIPPING. That boys got talent.
Now i dont know much about that boy who got his ass whipped other than for the most part he pretty well got what he deserved. Seems to me he most likely let his mouth overload his ass and then of course then he simply got his ass whipped. In other words his ass wasnt big enough to back his mouth up. So my advice to him would be to go home and suck his mommas titty and get a little bit bigger and badder before he goes around picking fights with kids that are one year younger than he is.

That's the way people handle issues around here - by bullying or trying to bully others. Adults do it and teach their kids to do it. It's cultural when people don't know any better. They don't seem to know how to resolve issues any other way. If they think telling an adult will solve the bullying problem like the editorial in yesterday's Messenger stated, they have got to be kidding. The adults act the same way.

And im glad he went ahead and decide to fight back and give him a ass beating rather than just keep on taking it. One good thing to come out of this is the boy taught the bully a good lesson. Ill bet from this day forward he will think good and long before he opens his mouth or lays a hand on someone else.

Bullies dont travel alone...they pack up like animals and when they find their victim its usually all of them picking on that one victim.
I would like to see that boy write down the name of each person he was having trouble with and then one by one whip each one of their assess.

As much damage as that boy did to the bully he must have been either extremely scared or extremely angry or both put together. If he had not fought back and kept on taking it there is a possibility he could have internalized his aggressions. If that were to have happened he could have brought a gun or a bomb into the school and commited some serious acts of destruction and heartache.

First off, I cringe when I hear of these kids fighting because my friend had to bury her son because of a fight at school and it's horrible. The school knew about it but did nothing but advise the kids to another area away from school when in fact, they needed to call the cops.
Schools are not tough enough and some jail time may help calm down the tempers.
It saddens me to think kids get to the point of violence and school officials mainly just turn their heads.

That is very true. Telling adults doesn't work a lot of times for several reasons.

I got news for you...kids have always got into fights and kids are going to continue to get into fights. Theres nothing wrong with kids fighting because thats a healthy part of human nature.

When some dope smoking hippified peace loving do gooders interupt that part of human nature that is when the real problems take root.

Only a mindless idiot would teach a child to never fight back. Suppose a child is taught that he or she should never fight back because to do so would constitute an act of barbaric behavior. Sooner or later a bully will come along and start harassing the child and the child will not know how to handle the situation. The child could very well end up becoming angry to the point he could kill the bully.

The principles and teachers should tell the students that if they are going to fight to take it somewhere off the school grounds where they dont get caught. And that there should be enough students there to jump in and stop the fight in the event one of the kids are starting to get brutalized.

I always teach my son to fight back, but never be the bully.Think back in history, most of theses school shooters kids have been the kids that do not always fit in. Who have been bullied, who hold all that inside to they can not take it anymore, and by that time its to late.and they take a gun to school and kill everyone in sight.Always teach your kids that fighting is never the answer, but enough is enough.

Have you imbreds ever heard of martial arts? There are ways to teach your kids how to defend themselves without being bullies.

Imbred or inbred...which would be worse???

Learn to spell you mindless idiot and maybe eventually someone will take you seriously.

Martial Arts is okay for exercise but not for street fighting.

I have always told my kids to NEVER start a fight but if ever attacked to take the other person to the ground and make sure they remember it. You'd be surprised how fast the bullies have backed down. I will stand 100% behind my child if the school decides to punish them for defending themselves. I completely agree -- school administration and staff have no control over bullying or violence.

I think your opinion of the martial arts is valid because of the portrayal in the media and most schools that teach martial arts are concerned for their own legal reasons for teaching skills that could be misused and then cause a person to sue them for teaching it to them.

However to imply that martial arts is useless except for exercise is way off mark. I am completely biased in this area because I teach the Martial Arts ie.. Shorin-Ryu Karate, Gracie Jiu-jitsu, Kickboxing, Mixed Martial Arts, Aikijutsu etc.... and I promise you that they all have application in real altercations. The most useful and easiest to learn is Gracie Jiu-jitsu, an art originating in Brazil and cultivated on the Streets of Rio by the Famous Gracie Family. This art is designed to allow a smaller weaker person to have skills needed to overcome a larger and stronger opponent. The self defense taught in Gracie Jiu-jitsu is practical, simple and I PROMISE YOU, highly effective. See street fighting in Brazil is not a crime as it is here in the USA. That was the perfect laboratory to test what really works in a fight, and Master Helio Gracie did just that at 145lbs and issued open challenges to ANYONE of any size and was NEVER defeated in 60 years, with 100's of matches to test his skills. Master Helio's six sons are now spreading their famous brand of Martial Arts worldwide and it is here in Madisonville, KY. through Myers Martial Arts www.myersdojo.net

As i said I am biased to this because I have been doing it for 30 years and I have been personally training via the Gracie Family and Master Pedro Sauer for 10 years in Gracie Jiu-jitsu.

While I totally respect your opinion and as I stated is totally valid in most cases but not with Gracie Jiu-jitsu.

God Bless,

Eric Myers

What im saying is when you take a person out of the training room and or off the mat and put them in a parking lot at night you take them out of the environemt they were trained to fight in and place them in the environment the street fighter is familar with. You put the martial artist at mental disadvantage and that is not good.

It happened in december of 08 at Madisonville North Hopkins High School which is located in Madisonville Kentucky. The news channels from Evansville Indiana got hold of the story and had footage of the bullies momma complaining that the school did not "properly take care of" her son after he got his A$$ whipped by the boy he was harassing and picking on.
Good enough for the bully if he wasnt "properly taken care of" as far as im concerned the punk "properly got what he deserved".
