You guys have named some good ones but you cannot leave out Shane Amar.He is a true master of the fret board and hell of a human being to boot. Most of all, music "IS NOT A COMPETITION" but an art form of self expression.Nothing more!!Great guitar players are literally everywhere. You want to impress me,work at a nursing home wiping asses and bathing our elderly or try 3rd shift at a mini mart where your
100 times more likely to hurt or killed than a police officer is.

I agree music is an art for and takes a ton of dedication and practice. Everybody mentioned is a great musician and we should be proud of them for representing our area in the arts. I am proud of all of them and proud of the people that have not been mentioned. By the way yes my name is mentioned on here and thank you. I know everybody listed and really think they are great musicians and I am happy to be able to say I know them and have jammed with every one of them. Our area needs to support the arts more. The time and dedication put in to be able to learn an instrument is amazing. It is very hard work and you have to put you soul and life into it. I respect all the musicians around here and really llok forward to seeing the next generation of musicians come up and take off with it.

Warren Jenkins is about the best in the area. He might be an old fart over 50 but he rocks that heavy metal better than the younger guys
