Some of the KY basketball players from the Nat'l Chanpionship team are touring KY signing autographs. They're coming to The Wildcat Warehouse but autographs and pictures are not free. Between $20 and $50 dollars each, is the going price. I don't think I agree with paying these kids for an autograph when they attended KY on a free ride scholarship for one year of basketball. They've been treated like kings for the past year and soon will become worth millions in the NBA. Why milk a hard working basketball fan out of a few bucks? It just sounds greedy.

If you don't agree.....don't pay the price. It's fairly simple. You make the same choices everyday about where, and what you pay for your fuel, groceries, etc. If I were an All America, an NBA draft pick, and wearing a National Championship ring....yeah, I'd say my stock is high enough to command a few dollars from those interested enough to purchase items. Four bucks for a gallon of fuel sounds greedy to me, but that's the Capitalist system. Supply and demand. If you want it bad enough, buy it. If not, don't.

No way will I pay for an autograph. I have another opinion that you're welcome to disagree with too. These "one and done" players should have to repay the college for that year's free ride. Don't misunderstand me, I don't blame them for going pro. I'd jump too, if I were them. They provided a season of basketball entertainment for both KY fans and KY haters; they have talent and deserve to get paid for it. But if they're going to make millions to sign and play in the NBA, do they need to stick it to a small town fan for what's chump change to a rich athlete?

Screw those guys! I love the Widcats and will always support them, but these kids are out of their damn mind to charge for a picture and an autograph. These fans are the ones who have already spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars on T-shirts and tickets and other UK items already this year.

They are not alumni, just former players at this point.

They can charge all they want, I for one, will not pad a NBA players pocket.

I think if you get more then one thing signed there should be a fee. But I think the first autograph should be free! I mean we have to buy something everyday and we showed them support. So they should thank their fans. Not make them pay the price?

I have a 7 yr old son and a 3 yr old son who really wanted to go to this thing and then I found out that they are charging $30. And the first thing that came to mind was what the hell. You know how many kids would love to have this guys autograph and that dream just got shot down by charging? Not everyone can afford to put out $30 for someone to sign something. NBA player sign things for their fans especially kids for free everyday and this guy isn't even an NBA player yet and he is charging are you serious? Heck he's probably charging the store for coming their too. I'm disappointed in this whole thing. This should have been something to shout out to your fans and say thanks for all the support instead it's another let me take your money and show that I don't care I just care about your money.

Paying for photos and autographs is ridiculous. The kids are about to get paid plenty of money soon to play a damn game.

Check out Kentucky Sports Radio because Anthony Davis just donated money to Kentucky Children's Hospital from the proceeds that came from his first autograph signing. Wildcat Wearhouse also matched his donation. So make sure that you know the facts before you speak. I understand that autographs are usually free. However, this is the photo and 2 autographs. I hope that the rest of the players charging will follow up with donations.

If I wanted to make a donation I would do it myself. These guys have been treated like kings in this state, they owe it to the fans. If the players were truly concerned about donating, they will soon be millionaires, they can donate some of that cash.

I was just making a point about what happened with at least part of the profit. The photos do cost money. Have you thought about the fact that they are paying for the travel from place to place. Gas is not cheap and the basketball program is not allowed to pay for expenses such as that. Yes, they will be making millions, but that is in the future. Wow, everybody loved them just a couple of weeks back, and now, look at the "you owe me" attitude.
