new coach at scott next year

i was wondering if anyone has heard anything about there being a new football coach at scott next year i was there is gonna be a new one thought maby someone else heard something

my friend i don't know who you are but mullet is not the same coach he was back in the 80s!!!!! he really sucks now and has a real shitty attitude to the kids, fans, and parents..... he's a (fat head prick) and the HAWKS can kiss their football program goodbye!!!!!

i agree 100% mickey thompson would be a great coach for the kids at scott he is one of the nicest most understanding people i know and i think hes wonderful with kids and he would not turn any kid away even if he knew they wouldnt get alot of playing time there first year i really think he could make a huge difference at scott...i think they need a change

You are clueless.
Scott football was a habitual loser until one thing happened...until the current coach became the coach.
He is the only one that has established a winning program. It dont matter what parents think, arm chair qb's think, or what parents that want to live out their failed opportunities thru their kids think. It matters what the players think about their coach.

Mullett was one of those former coaches that had his chance & then walked away.

Feasting on wins vs small middle schools & football teams like Harts (who hasnt had football long), Duval, Hamlin, Guyan Valley, George Washington, Man...does not a high school football coach make.

Scott missed the boat years ago by not hiring Mickey Brown. His records at both Sherman and Chapmanville reflect his ability and I think had he been given the opportunity at Scott he would have really made that program more succesful. However coach Brown would have winning seasons no matter where he coached He was and is one of the GREATS.

Sadly he was pushed out of Van, so the Board promised him the job at Scott. Coach Griffith was not even allowed to sit in on the interviews and his opinion was not considered.
