Black lung funds go to those who smoked and burned their lungs up. These people go to the black lung doctor and lie and say they never smoked.

I wouldn't lie and sell my soul for a monthly black lung check, would you?

Most people in West Virginia would sell their soul for any sort of monthly government benefit check, as long as their lazy asses don't have to work.

My grandfather died of black lung. He never smoked a day in his life. Everyone has an opinion I guess.

Your grandfather most likely died of Silicosis. It is commonly misdiagnosed as Black Lung. Silicosis is from breathing rock dust that has fine granuals of glass in it. Horrible way to die.

Yes, but if someone quit smoking 25 years ago and are appling for Black Lung benefits it doesn't work. And even if someone quit smoking 25 years ago, THEY STILL DAMAGED their lungs. I know all about perception, ie figernails, tounge color, O2 levels, but those aren't helpful when the person has quit smoking.

The best way to tell if someone smokes is the fact that they STINK...LOL!

Why don't you spend your time learning to spell rather than throwing criticism at hard working men
