Haven't you guys heard? All of the dopers have gotten clean. Yeah, Boone County no longer has a drug problem. This is, unfortunately, a dual sided sword. True, there's no longer an epidemic to worry about; peeps won't have to lock up their medicine cabinets - but this is going to prove to be a huge problem for law enforcement. Now, instead of strolling past 35 sex offenders and child sex predators to incarcerate one person with a Motrin 800 mg. they will have to use real detective work, and make somewhat of a lukewarm effort to wage war against real crime. I have faith in them. I think that they can do it. There will be a spaghetti dinner next week to help rally up the boys and heighten community spirit to support them in this hard, monotonous venture. I am so proud of em' that I fester up inside with all sorts of moisture when I think about these noble individuals! Rah Rah!

not at all drag queen in the closet. Im a moderate along the lines of Reagan. Registered republican actually. But in my line of work I can assure idiots like yourself that it is all types that are on drugs. so please kindly pull ur head from your anus when u finish poking your prostate with ur nose

I'm sure you are moderate because even people that weren't liberals or for decriminalization of drug use would be offended by my comments and your line of work doesn't impress me in the slightest and aren't you grand invoking Reagan's name. In other words I was talking about liberals which you claim not to be but feel the heroic need to jump to their defense, or you are a blatant liar. Anyway I stand by my comments and you've proven yourself amoral and crude via your cursing and idiot attempts to insult and otherwise unable to debate other than name calling.

You wouldn't try to make generic implications or to put words in my mouth would you?! LOL. The only fool that I see getting defensive is you. I never stated that drug use was not a crime. Nonetheless, you made that claim, so, let's assess the assumption. I believe that the entire substance abuse/addiction agenda has been exaggerated tremendously and taken advantage of by special interest groups. I'm too lazy to sit and debate this entirely, so, i'll just hit a few points. Look around. There's not ONE Dr. in this county or perhaps state, who utilizes a prescription pad without being afraid, or who practices medicine without anxieties stemming from the toils of trying to please every Gestapo-like acronym agency within our Federal Government. Most people in this country are too blind, or stupid to realize that our liberties are being taken. We are sitting idly by allowing this grinding mechanism to rape us from every orifice. Punish the pushers and go after the dealers. The thorn is that problem solving means undermining our constitution; accepting a quick fix at the cost of walking an even tighter rope. There's always going to be idiots shooting poison in their veins. That won't change. But really, is it necessary to kill a snake using a bazooka? There's no sense creating 15,000 task forces in the name of eradicating "prescription drug abuse." Where are the S.W.A.T. teams that investigate, plan and go after pedophiles? They don't exist. I'm sorry, I would MUCH rather be the neighbor of someone who has a drug problem rather than a pervert, or some sicko who watches my children get on and off the school bus. Nine times out of ten, an addict sits in their home and bothers no one. You can't say the same about chesters. I'll take your name calling in stride. "Liberal Drug User" - I am not an addict. But I believe in true democracy - one where government does not dare making decisions for every person and where bureaucracy walks the tight rope, not the constituents. My .02

I gotta say, this really shows your ignorance of true conservatism. George W. Bush was/is not a conservative, may claim to be but that doesn't make him one is reality. Glenn Beck is a false religion conspiracy nut, not a true conservative. You really need to know what your talking about before you post.

while I agree that they may not be true conservatives by the traditional definition. They are exactly what the party has become. And they are the parties mascots. Reagan is the conservative guiding light and hero, while he himself was far from a conservative
