I have to agree, This man is bad for our county and he has no interest, in polotics other than getting a pay day. I would Vote for Jessco White before I would vote for Him. At lesat Jessco has brought business in not kept it out.

I've been told he wants the job just so he don't jave to pay for health insurance, cause the PART-TIME county commission job has FULL-Time health benefits!

Al Halstead is no friend to Big Coal River he is only interested in doing favors for his cronies and hacks, He even threatened a former coach of the Tide that had a differing opinion than Al did about the ball field. He also sticks in the back any county in the back that comes to him with a problem. One other thing, he is still associated with George Parson construction company and he makes sure George Parsons gets county commission contracts for work, people have even seen Parsons workers getting tools for work out of Al Halsteads truck while he was in commission meeting....

yea i have to agree with everyone here i think its about time for some changes to happen but everytime people go and vote they dont really look at who they are voting for they go for the straight ticket so they can get back to thier so called busy day people come on think before you do something i mean i know its not that hard to think

Its not that big of a secret that many of the county employees are not happy with some of their current bosses. County commission underlings are already interrogating the county employees about who they are going to support in the next election. What is a person to do if your boss asks you who your going to vote for? Al Halstead is for Big Coal River only he could care less about Van, Madison or Spruce River period.

If you are serious, then you take a stand and bust Gore's, Williams' or Halstead's rear end, because it's illegal for them to pressure you if you are an employee. There are others in the county who will stand behind you on that. Halstead and his cronies are crooks.

Halstead is not that well liked in this part of Boone County. He's ripped off old people for their repairs that he supposedly did, but really didn't.

Gary williams, Al Halstead, Jim Gore, Mickey Brown seem to be unaware that the general public believes that they are a bunch of idiots. This county will continue to decline as a result of the lack of leadership these individuals have demonstrated. Who are these individuals representing? It's not the people who made the mistake of voting for them the first time that won't happen again. It's time to get out, stop embrassing our county and do yourself and your family a favor by not asking Boone Countians to re-elect you.

the last i heard al was a great christian man and he would do boone co. good for what we have in there now. the courthouse as a whol needs to get out and in Gods' time they will one by one . josh and adam is gone and if the truth was known they knew why and b/c afraid of putting their names in the paper or the news for their no better than anyone that was under them that went to jail .they should have went too....but didn't want to ruin their names but guess what, i hope they don't think people of boone co. is that dumb that they don't know whats going on....
