Better feta: Cheese production up 7 percent

By ASSOCIATED PRESS Sunday, June 21, 2009 - 11:40 a.m. MADISON, Wis. a ' Production of specialty cheeses in Wisconsin rose 7 percent in 2008 and the state is poised to set an all-time milk production record.

Feta cheese is becoming more more popular in South East Asia in general and in Thailand in Particular.
I guess because of the hot weather and the sea and the millions of tourists the demand for Feta is goring here and local like the very light "greek salad" which goes great with feta and i guess production is growing as well.
They start making cheese such as Feta cheese and Greek Yogurt in Asia too.
In Bangkko we have this place called HomeMade-Cheese Co.
tehy make great feta and yogurt, i think they are mediterrenean-the Chefs/owners.
I know around asia -in Bali especially Feta cheese and Greek Salad are very popular.
i hope there will be more Feta Cheese producers in Asia and in Thailand-Bangkok so the price of Feta will go down as well.

They make wonderfull cheese, Their Feta Cheese is the best in Thailand for sure and same goes for the yogurt,
I wish there were more cheese producers in Bangkok or in thailand and some goat cheese as well.
