Woman, children live with corpse for two months

A Wisconsin mother and her two children lived with the decomposing body of a 90-year-old woman placed on a toilet for more than two months after a sect leader told her to pray for her to wake up.

What are people thinking now adays? Is there no intelligence anymore or even common sense?

I think it is pretty gross to even think about doing something like this. What was this woman thinking or what kind of drugs was she on? That poor woman who died. I wonder how she got treated before she died. I wonder how the kids are being taken care of. I guess maybe now they will be ok but, Geez!

i can't even imagine. okay, i can see maybe waiting for a day (that's what wakes were for back in the day, right?) and hoping, but dead's dead. and after that long, you know that the corpse had to be smelling terrible...this woman needs some help...

what was she thinking? when your 90 year old mom passes on lay her to rest. that's crazy, what those children had to see, and rest her soul, smell. its a crazy world we live in. i hope this has happy ending for the kids anyway.

You would think after 2 months that there should be a clue that she was not going to wake up. I would say it was for a check she was drawing and got caught. That is such a shame to abuse anyone much less than your mother in this sort of way.

i feel so sorry for those kids... talk about traumatic! geez!

i'm a very spiritual person, and i love my God... but it's stuff like this that turn some people away from religion all together! a lot of craziness is done in the name of religion...

We all know those kids will have to have pychatrict(sp) help after this. I think that that woman should also have it. I wonder how she was brought up. I would have never thought to do something like that to my mom or even anyone who has passed. Even creamation would of been better than to have this in my house for 2 months. No one I ever knew fell asleep for 2 days let alone for 2 months. I really would like to know how they found out about this? Did someone come to the house or did one of the kids say something or did the woman come to her senses and spoke up to someone?

I agree with you religon at times goes over board

It says in the story the kids were 15 and 12 and they pray for this lady ( who may not be realated to them )for a few days. She told the kids that she looks that way because the deamons don't want you to know that she is still alive. The guy who told this woman of this is a self proclaimed bishop of the Queen of the holy Rosary shrine. Alan Bushey and the mother of the kids have 2 counts of mental harm of a child.

What no charges for the dead woman. Isn't there something out there for that?
